In the tower, 9:00 PM...
Third Person POV
Jake was busy coming up with the plan for the remainder of the day after Sanchez's unexpected call. Now its only an hour before the meet and he still hasn't come up with a solid plan. His real and concrete plan before the change was for him to just answer the phone and Sanchez would tell him Kane's location, but obviously that didn't happen.
Jakes plan wasn't "concrete" yet because of Natasha. Since the raid she's been keeping a close eye on him, the only form of privacy is when he keeps his distance from her by leaving the room or when he goes to bed at night. Even though he does those things he still thinks she's still watching after him.
The only reason why he reached out to Sanchez in the first place was because of the fact that he owed him one. Well, technically he owed one to Daya since she saved his butt a year back when a deal between his crew and Kane's had a run in with another. The event so unforgettable that he could never forget and was truly in debt to her. So when Jake told him about his predicament he couldn't turn him down. Sanchez was practically just as involved in his associates as if they were his own flesh and blood, and he knew Daya and Jakes case involving Kane. So when he heard how Kane threw them under the bus, it struck him the wrong way. And part of the reason why Jake is crabby towards him is that he knows how he can be a real asshole at times.
Jake appreciated his help- as well as the team- but the fact that his informant specifically told him to hand his find in person was a total inconvenience. The plan for Jake at this point was to get down to the lobby and walk right out of the tower and catch a cab before anyone could notice. But he knew Tony had Jarvis monitoring everything. Unless he could just ask Jarvis to not tell anyone. . .
"Hey, um, Ja. . . Jar. . . Jarvey?"
"Its Jarvis. But yes?" He replied shortly after.
Jake rubbed the back of his neck and breathed out. He wasn't sure if he'll rat him out to Tony or the whole team but he knew that whatever the outcome, they couldn't stop him from this lead on Kane.
"I need you to keep something secret."

Jake left his room and took the elevator down after he explained the situation to Jarvis. Surprisingly he allowed it. Jake didn't think that he would so he felt that something was fishy about the whole deal.
As inconspicuous as he could get, he wore his normal attire that the team supplied him for the time being. Sporting a grey T-shirt, black jeans, black pair of ankle high combat boots, and his black leather jacket, he was ready to go. He was contemplating the black baseball cap that Steve gave him but thought it would give away more.
While the elevator came to a stop, he felt like one of the team members would jump out at him once the doors opened. But that didn't happen. He stepped out and scanned the whole room, from the lobby desk to the front doors, and it was completely empty.
Either that Jarvis guy ratted me out or everyone went home for the night, he thought as he made his way to the doors.
Once outside he walked a couple of blocks down to make it seem like he didn't just walk out of Avengers tower, then hailed a cab and took off for the Old Alley. The cab driver cared less about a teen who is looking for a ride at this hour and just decided to keep his mouth shut for the time being. Jake was surprised and suspicious of his behavior but didn't over think it. He knew that it was going to be a long ride so he pulled out the phone from his pocket and started playing a game for the time being.
