In the Quinjet before Daya's "moment"Steve
I was stunned at how Thor convinced her to surrender, compared to how stubborn she seems. If only he got here sooner.
I didn't want this to end in a fight, and I certainly didn't want her to get hurt. Tony clearly chose not to follow my orders and he inflicted more pain than any of us when he shot her with his repulser blast.
I glanced down at her leg and saw the patch of blood in her jeans with a few stitches poking out. We didn't inflict that pain, it was the SHIELD captain that caused that injury. I was relieved to see that she managed to stitch it up before we got to her, but Bruce and Dr. Cho may need to check it out.
Her stomach area on her shirt looked singed from Tony's blast, and her wrists were beginning to turn blue black with bruises.
"Hey Capsicle, she's not going to jump out of the jet. Stop being a worry-wart" Tony whispered to me.
I wasn't paying any attention to the conversation the rest of them were having, mainly because I was watching them.
"Did anyone get a taste of her paralysis?" Clint asked.
I did, I think, but I wasn't effected by her hits.
"Really? I'm pretty sure if any of us were hit by her, we would be lying paralyzed on the floor" Tony cut in.
"Just a question..." Clint sassed.
"With her abilities, this fight would have suited you all in defeat," Thor tried whispering.
"Yeah, thanks for showing up point break," Tony quipped.
They were about to continue, but Fury checked in.
"Has she said anything?"
"She hasn't said a word," Nat answered.
"Reminds me of a certain other person" Tony added referring to Loki.
"Just get her here," Fury deadpanned before tuning out.
"I hope not, or else we are looking at a whole lot of crazy," Clint added, knowing who Tony was talking about.
