"Together."

Suddenly, Hulk roared out a battle cry, triggering the fight. I had to contain my fangirling excitement as I not only finally stood next to him, but I was fighting alongside him and the others.

The others being my new family.

Ultron sent his army of robots our way and we all whipped into action. Their metal feet pounded against the ground and sounded like a herd of elephants, quaking the earth beneath our feet and keeping a steady rhythm. Everything became a blur in the seconds that passed as we fought.

Wanda flew her hands left and right dismantling robots as her red aura swirled everywhere. Pietro zoomed in and out of the church tearing up the machines, his blue blur streaking in, out, and all around. Vision occasionally stood and fought before flying upward and taking out the majority in the air, his arms and body going intangible to destroy the bots from the inside out.

Steve and I somersaulted over robots and tag teamed against a couple. He used his shield and acrobatic moves while I performed some unrefined kickboxing styles of throwing punches and kicks with rocks in the mix. When I found myself overwhelmed, I'd sink the robots into the ground and allow one of the others to take them out by means of arrow, bullet, shield, punch, blast, or zap.

Clint and Natasha gave it their all by firing arrows and bullets, every once in a while doing a fancy move to dodge a robots blasts. Thor electrocuted the ones in his wake as Tony cut through ten with his one-trick laser beams before taking off and fighting in the air a few times. And then there was Hulk, biting heads off of a few robots then proceeding to smash the others to bits. The big guy had a space all to himself but I was close enough to say that I was fighting beside him, my dream coming true.

I'd have to mention how awesome Bruce and He are later when this is over.

Dismantled robots were piling up in the dozens all around us and it seemed like we had a chance. Ultron had his work cut out for him in sending the army, but we were a force to be reckoned with.

My hair that was up in a ponytail fell to my shoulders in waves, the hairclip finally becoming loose from our day of fighting. The wind and breeze due to Pietro's zooming - or simply because of the battling robots flying in and out - would whip my hair in every direction, yet somehow it wouldn't whip into my face. I was thankful since it seemed the robots were especially trained on me and I didn't need anymore distractions.

The metal men were coming in an endless wave, and I began to feel my strength waver. I switched tactics and used my powers, sending out a shockwave to blow a dozen out of the church.
