"I need nothing to travel the sea, I need nothing, I need nothing. But there's something eating at me.
Black water, take over.
Swallowed by a vicious, vengeful sea, darker days are raining over me, in the deepest depths I lost myself, I see myself through someone else."

Third Person POV

"NO! NO! STOP!" Daya screamed as the soldiers forcefully carried her up the ramp towards the sanctuary top hatch. They had her by her arms and legs, a total of ten to keep her from jumping over the edge to escape her inevitable fate.

Strucker thought that his workers were behind schedule, but he got a nice surprise when they confirmed its completion before schedule. He stood smiling down below as he watched Daya squirm up above on the ramp. She managed to break away and look down at him, but the complete look of fear across her features just made him feel more empowered. Now they were directly by the rim.

"Enjoy your bath!" One of the soldiers called as they dumped her battered body into the huge tank filled with water.

Daya mentally cursed as they thrown her basically head first into the vertical pool of water. Some of its contents crashed over the edge and cascaded down over the glass; some of it also catching Struckers shoe. The sudden shock of below temperature water sent instant goosebumps all over her body. Luckily because of its size, she was able to turn and maneuver her way back upright. Her hands hastily flapped through the water to reach the surface, and her feet then connecting to its bottom, she put all of her remaining strength into her legs to propel her back to the top. But above the soldiers quickly slammed the hatch shut, which was the only form of escape. . . And air.

Only a tiny two inches of space was between the rim and water. Daya kept her legs pumping to keep her afloat in order to catch a breath. "HEL- GAH!" she could barely choke out before she sunk back under. She shut her eyes and propelled herself upward once more. The amount of determination she had to get out of that water was way past average. "HELLLPPP!" She shrieked, her brittle and trembling voice no longer able to hold the word.

Before long her body gave out. The blood from her injuries seeping out and diffusing in intricate patterns around her. The sight gruesome but elegant. . . Well at least in Struckers eyes.

Daya's eyes were closed completely, but she continued to hold her breath. Strucker saw this and snapped his fingers at the workers above the tank. They knew what that meant and attached the three inch diameter hose to the center of the hatch, a pipe meant to supply a rare concoction to stimulate suspended animation. A blue-black substance pumped through the tube and filled the remainder of the tank. The black fog of water began to sink into the transparent solvent, its darkness cascading over Daya and enveloping her in a thick haze.

She didn't want to open her eyes so she didn't realize the substance surrounding her. And since her lungs were that of a super soldier she knew how to hold her breath for a good while. The only problem is that once the substance enters her bloodstream in any way- injected, absorbed or digested- its a trip down memory lane. And seeing as her stab wound has not healed yet, it is very much possible.

The black liquid mist finally overran her wound, the tingly sensation causing Daya to open her eyes and look down at it. But the black water was so thick that she couldn't see anything. The sudden realization caused her to push herself over to the glass. With her left foot pressed as firmly as physically possible against the tank floor and glass meeting point, and her right foot doing the same on the other side, she pressed her back behind her to the glass. Her left hand outstretched and steadying her as she brought her right fist back and thrusted it forward, connecting it with the bullet proof material. Although every part of her body ached, especially her shoulder, she didn't stop.
