Third person POV

Daya had flopped over onto the floor the moment her eyes rolled back into her head and her hands were still glowing a bright green. The Avengers didn't have a clue what was going on, or why she was reacting this way, but the only person who did have a clue was Jake.

"Tony! Open the door!" Steve yelled again while anxiously waiting on the other side of the glass cell watching Daya succumb to her unconscious state.

Tony reluctantly tapped the panel and allowed the cell to open up then Steve rushed in straight for her, slid on his knees and scooped her up in his arms. He did it so swiftly that the others had to double blink to see what just happened.

"What if this is just a trick!?" Tony yelled at him while he was rushing her out of the cell in his arms.

Steve was so determined to get her to a medic that he hadn't thought of that. Tony, Thor, Bruce, Clint, Natasha and the few soldiers that came as back up, all stared at him. Steve looked down at her lifeless body in his arms then looked back up to the others.

"Bruce, the cuffs" he muttered to him. Bruce had the cuffs in his hands so he slowly approached him with Daya in his arms then placed them on her wrists. "Now can we get her to a medic" Steve ordered sternly.

Daya's subconscious...

"The asset will be worthy of our cause if you let it show you its abilities" A man with a German accent stated, but I couldn't see who said it because everything around me was still in darkness.

"Enough of your lies. I want results, not failed attempts" Another man with an american accent stated sternly.

"If you just allow me to show you the progress it has made since the serum..." the man with the German accent began but then some light was beginning to shine in my eyes. I looked up in the direction where it was coming from and there was a crack of light peaking through the corner of the pitch black room. "It can surprise you" he finished, and the creaking of a rusty hinge echoed through the room before the light broke in, revealing two silhouettes standing in the doorway. I hissed at the light and at the two strangers peering in through the door like a caged animal, but all they did in return was chuckle.

"This is what's going to surprise me?" the man with the american accent asked sarcastically, "It does not look like it can last a second out in the open before collapsing" he stated. And from the silhouettes, the one to the right that I am guessing is the german man was nervously rubbing his hands.

"Don't let its appearance fool you. Trust me when I say that it has already knocked out three of its handlers while trying to escape in the past few days since the serum" he replied while gesturing to me. I finally looked away from them and dropped my head to look at myself and I can understand where that american guy is coming from because I look like a mess!

My hands were above my head chained to the wall, my legs looked bruised and scraped as if I was struggling from something, or someone, the tattered clothing hanging onto my frail body was dingy and full of dirt, and the shorts I was wearing had tears on the ends with muck splattered all over. I guess I resisted A LOT to gain this treatment.

"Did it try anything against the soldier?" the man with the american accent asked curiously, and who's the "soldier"?
