Daya
"JESUS!" I yelled while spinning around on my heel to face her.
With a pleased smirk dawning on her lips, I watched as the rest of the crew walked down the stairs to meet us.
I guess they don't want to give us some privacy.
"Oh I'm not Jesus," She replied plainly to my outburst, "Although, you might end up meeting him if you come face to face with the big deal." She said in a daunting voice.
"Who is he?" I remarked, but I gained a surprised look from both her and Jake.
By now, everybody made it down the stairs and were now joining the conversation, so I guess there's no hiding my mind from them.
"Okay, so am I the only one who doesn't know who this guy from my memories is?" I asked baffled.
Tony, Thor, Bruce, and Steve gathered around us and waited expectantly for an answer they did not have.
That's when I saw Natasha, which was standing on the other side of the pool table, glance over to Clint and gesture to me. I guess that since this guy is such a big deal that this is a one to one type chat.
"Um, Daya? Remember when I mentioned Steve's friend that was dead, but turned out that he wasn't?" He said to me in a hushed voice.
"Yeah..." I answered while nodding my head like a child.
Wait a second...did he tell her about him after our chat in my cell? And then she just overheard for herself about him...so I just confirmed to her who I'm talking about? Wow, they truly are spies.
"That's the guy in your memories. Steve's friend, his name is James Buchanan Barnes, but he calls him Bucky." He whispered so that I guess Steve couldn't hear.
I looked over to Steve and noticed that he was straining to hear what we were discussing. What? Does he know if he's back and kicking again, or he doesn't?
"So this 'Bucky' is his friend and he knows he's alive, but I shouldn't say it out loud..."
"Uh..."
"Bucky?" Steve suddenly bud in.
I glanced over Clint's shoulder and saw this pained, yet hopeful look on Steve's face, but when I turned back to Clint, he looked exasperated and I couldn't help but smirk.
"Um...yeah, Steve. We're talking about Buc-"
I suddenly stopped mid word because of the sharp jab I felt in the back of my head. I winced and eased my hands up to it, expecting a weapon lodged in my skull, but there was nothing.
Clint cast me a confused stare, as well as Steve and the gang, but I tried extremely hard not to show any sign of pain, so I continued.
"Bucky." I shut my eyes and growled through gritted teeth.
"Are you alright?" I heard Clint ask quietly so only I could hear.
"Honestly...no." I muttered.
"Having another memory?" He whispered this time.
My eyes were still tightly shut, yet I began to feel tears escape from them. That's when I felt him place a hand on my shoulder, so I guess he took that as a yes.
"What's the matter?" I heard Bruce ask.
My head now felt like it was boiling, so I know this is certainly a new one.
