Sunkit was sitting in the nursery huddled with Winterkit and Rainkit. Heatherear had brought them inside when she heard what was going on.
Ivyheart was sleeping with her newborn kits in the back of the nursery with Ravenscar and Leaftail.
Sunkit's ears drooped at the clan. They were all huddled in the center of camp blocking her view, but she knew what happened.
She saw Runningwish and Voleeye laying beside each other in the group. She wanted to play, but knew it wasn't a good time.
"Kits, get away from the entrance, we can all take a nap." Heatherear called. Sunkit and the others hesitated, but after another call from the golden queen they returned to their mothers.
Sunkit huddled up in Heatherears tail fur and watched the group through the entrance.
"What happened?" Sunkit asked. Heatherear sighed and licked Sunkits head.
"Rainmist is joining Starclan Sunkit. She has gone peacefully." Heatherear reassured. Sunkit yawned and watched as long as she could until sleep took over her.
