Short Story #5 - Bridges - Hazel and Frank

*Frank and Hazel are on a Geometry field trip. They are dating starting that morning*

Frank and Hazel stop at the top of the bridge. The rest of the class starts on their way down to eat lunch, but Frank and Hazel want to stop and watch the sunset, holding hands.
"This is perfect." Hazel says.
"Look! It's us," says Frank, pointing at a peaceful, beautiful ship, floating across the water.
Hazel smiles.
"And there is Ceagle." says Frank. pointing at a different boat. It had floated away from the safety of the dock and hit a cliff. It slowly began catch fire.
They stood together watching it burn.
"I thought that ship would never die," said Hazel.
"Neither did I," admits Frank, "until I met you."
They lean in and kiss, gently. Out of the corner of Hazel's eye she sees Annabeth staring at them with binoculars from the bushes...
