Prom

Short Story #11 - Prom

Prom was just around the corner and Percy, Frank, Leo, Jason, Sammy, and Nico didn't have a date.

Annabeth, Hazel, Calypso, Piper, and Reyna were all waiting to be asked.

Percy had to work up the nerve for Annabeth, while Frank had to do the same thing for Hazel, Leo for Calypso, and Jason for Piper. Sammy was just going to let Frank have Hazel while Nico was scarred to ask another guy. Clarisse already had a date. Grover and Juniper were already going together.

Percy, Annabeth, Hazel, Frank, Leo, Sammy, Piper, and Reyna all went shopping together.

Hazel had found the perfect dress. It's a dark purple strapless dress that tightens at the waist and then flows to the ground. At the waist there is a small sparkling jewel pattern. her shoes are small black wedges.

Annabeth bought a dress with a dark blue lining that is sweetheart neckline with silver lace that goes over the top and up and around her neck. It has no sleeves (tank-style). It goes to her mid-thigh to make her look taller since she is wearing flats that are the same silver as her dress.

Piper got a long, flowing, soft pink dress with spaghetti straps. She is going to wear black flats.

Reyna is going to wear a short, snug, baby blue dress with bright blue high heels.

Clarisse went shopping with Calypso and Juniper. She got a long, loose fitting black dress, which she is going to wear with purple converse.

Calypso is going to wear a white one shoulder gown with a gold band around the waist with sandal flats.

Juniper made her own dress. It's green and looks as though it was made of leaves and vines. She is going to wear brown flats with it.

The guys all agreed to wear the same style of suit, just different colors. They figured that our by figuring out their dates.

Percy asked Annabeth after the high heel incident. He is wearing a black suit with a dark blue collared shirt that matches Annabeth's dress.

Leo asked Calypso when he disappeared. He is wearing a red suit and a black collared shirt with a white tie. He and Calypso are not matching at all.

Sammy doesn't have a date, so he is wearing a black suit with a green (his favorite color) collared shirt.

Frank asked Hazel by turning into a cute kitten and brining a note to her. He is wearing a black suit with a purple collared shirt that matches Hazel's dress.

Jason asked Piper by spelling it out in the sky with clouds. He is wearing a black suit with a soft pink collared shirt that matches Piper's dress.

Nico is in all black.

Grover is in a black suit with an orange collared shirt that will compliment Junipers dress.

Everyone is dressed and ready for the prom. All the girls got together at Annabeth's house to get ready together. The guys arrive in two limos. Percy knocks on the door and rings the doorbell.

Annabeth answers, "Hey." she says.

"Hey..." Percy slowly says back, for he was looking at her beautiful dress. All the other girls came out from behind Annabeth.

"Eeeeek! You guys got a limo?! No way! That's so cool." Hazel says when she spots the limos, "2 of them! Wow. You are just too much."

Percy steps down into a line with the other guys and they all hold out their arms for the girls to take, all except Nico, who walks awkwardly with Clarisse.

Hazel takes Franks' arm. Annabeth takes Percy's. Calypso takes Leo's. Piper takes Jason's. Juniper takes Grover's. Reyna takes Sammy's just because he looked lonely. They all climb into the limos and head to prom.

When all of them climb out, everyone who was already there gaped at what seemed to be a limo for clowns. Once they were inside the couples split.

Hazel dragged Frank to the dance floor.

Percy convinced Annabeth to let him have a go at the chocolate fountain.

Leo and Calypso join Hazel and Frank.

Piper and Jason slink out of sight.

Grover finds enchiladas and now Juniper is trying to get him to dance with her.

Clarisse finds her date (Chris) and goes to the dance floor.

Nico found a really nice guy and was now chatting with him.

Sammy just kinda stood there, not knowing what to do.

Reyna was also out on the dance floor.

Everyone danced, ate, and spazzed out. They had an amazing time. When they all for home, everyone just crashed at Annabeth's house, couples sleeping with hands held.
