Short Story #20 - Drama - Annabeth and Percy

Annabeth had really taken a liking to Shakespeare. Percy, on the other hand, found it rather confusing. Annabeth has always had a knack for acting, so she participates in Drama.
The drama class was planning to put on a performance soon. All of Annabeth's friends are coming to watch and support her.
Hazel, Percy, Leo, Frank, Jason, Piper, Nico, Reyna, and Coach Hedge all arrive at 6:00pm at the theater.
The show starts and Annabeth performs her scene beautifully.
Afterwords, Percy seeks for Annabeth. He finds her backstage, alone.
"Hey," he knocks on her open costume room, "you did amazing." he says.
"Thanks," Annabeth whispers. She looks at her shoes, blushing.
"Hey," Percy says softly, "Show me your beautiful face." Annabeth lifts her head with the help of Percy's finger under her chin.
She has tears in her eyes that are threatening to spill over.
"Come here." Percy says, arms outstretched. Annabeth runs into them. She starts sobbing.
"What's wrong?" Percy asks.
"I-did-horrible!" she answers in between sobs.
"What? I, and everyone in the audience, thought you were amazing. You were the only one really talked about. Others were mentioned here and there, but everyone was amazed at you." Percy says.
"Really?" she asks. Percy's facial expression confirms without the use of words.
They stand there hugging for a few minutes.
"You know what?" Percy asks.
"What?" she questions.
"We should go out." he states.
"Yes. Yes we should." Annabeth confirms. She looks up and Percy leans down. Their lips connect in a furious passion.
