He looks over his stack of blue pancakes to see Annabeth worrying her lip.
Gods. Why does she have to do that? It drives me nuts. How can she be do adorable AND so smart? Oh yeah, she's Annabeth. The love of my life.

He blushes litely when Annabeth catches his eye and give him that slight smile that let's you know she is deep in thought.

She is mine.

That single thought runs through his mind and it gives him a fluttery, warm comfort. She licks her lip and looks bad down at her food.

Man. She turned her beautiful face away from me again. I know she doesn't particularly like the way she looks, but to me she is the most beautiful person the face of this Earth. She even beats Aphrodite, who always appears as the one you love most.

When she impersonates Annabeth, her eyes are always too lustful, and her hips are prominent in a bad kinda way that makes you think they are fake. She cannot get the shade of blonde correct. Ever.

My Annabeth has the perfect combination of all the things about her, and I just fell for her. What can I say? I'm a love-struck monkey. I'm not a money's uncle thought. That would be weird - to be related to a money, but not actually be a money...

Percy's mind wanders off into the land of moneys before he is jolted back by Annabeth saying his full name.

"Perseus," she says sternly.

"I'm not a monkey's uncle," is the first thing that tumbles out of his mouth. "Stupid demigod brain..."

"Umm... Okay," Annabeth brushes off the weird comment. Happens to everyone. "We need to talk about what we are going to do next..."
