Short Story #6 - The Fall - Annabeth and Percy

*Percy and Annabeth are not dating*

"Race you!" Percy shouted.
"You're on!" Annabeth challenged. They raced up the driveway and around the corner when Percy accidentally trips Annabeth.
She screams and flails for something to grab onto. She connects with Percy's hand and he gets yanked down with her.
Percy is able to twist them around so his back hits the ground with Annabeth on top.
Everything seems to go in slow motion. Annabeth leans down and their lips connect. They don't see Hazel's eyes watching from the window.
After around 3 minutes, Hazel can't stand if and bursts through the window screaming, "OPT! OTP! OTP! OTP!"
Percy stands up abruptly, completely forgetting that Annabeth was on top of him. She falls, again, but this time Leo comes running up and catches her, putting her back on her feet.
Percy and Annabeth both turn beet red.
Hazel is still whispering "OTP. OTP."
Leo is just shaking his head.
"We have to go to school now..." Annabeth mutters.
As they walk back to the car, Percy links his fingers in Annabeths (Hazel squeals from behind them) and whispers in Annabeth's ear, " You knock me off my feet... Literally!"
