Short Story #41 - Store - Hazel and Franks

Hazel was looking at a few cute shirts in the back of the store she wandered into. Frank just kinda kept walking, but he's a big bear. Pardon the pun. He'll roar if he needs too...

Back to the darling shirt. It's gray and it has a really pretty owl on it.... Annabeth would lobe this. She puts it over her arm. Next. A really cute v-neck t-shirt with a multi-color arrow pattern on it. Totally Piper. She puts this one over her arm as well.

Ironically, Hazel finds a shirt for all of the girls (Annabeth, Piper, Thalia, Katie, Calypso, even Clarisse), but herself. She moves to another rack, turning her back on the entrance.

"How about this one?" a voice asks in Hazel's ear. She jumps a little before realizing that the voice belongs to a certain Teddy Bear.

"You scared me Frank!" she says while playfully hitting him in the arm. Wow. Muscly...

"Sorry, but what do you think?" he holds up a super adorable green, blue, and red button down flannel shirt paired with a black, thick strap tank top.

"It's wonderful!" Hazel squeals as she runs over and grabs it out of his hands. She really loves this modern, yet old style, fashion.

"I thought you might like it..." Frank says as he bites his lower lips. "Plus you'd look stunning in it."

Hazel blushes. "Thank you."

"I only speak the truth." Frank smiles.

"I'm gonna go try it on," she announces, a little flustered by the butterflies trying to burst from her stomach.

Frank sits and waits patiently for her to come out of the changing stall. And boy is the wait worth it. She is breath-taking.

"So?" Hazel asks as she turns around.

He is too star struck to say a coherent thought, so he gets up and walks towards her. He strokes her cheek. "Beautiful..." he whispers with so much love.

"I love you." Hazel whispers back.

"I love you more." Frank says softly as he closes the small gap between them, leaving no room for an argument.

Hazel winds her arms around his neck as she raises up onto her tip toes. Frank kisses her as if her life depends on it because she is the most precious gem in the universe. He pulls back for a quick gasp of air before claiming her luscious lips again. Hazel kisses back with the same intensity. It felt like fireworks were exploding. She gasps as Frank lightly bites her bottom lip. He takes this as an opportunity to slip his tongue inside her mouth where she meets him halfway. They both fight for dominance of the kiss with a ferocity that neither of them knew they possessed.

Eventually, Frank pulls away and kisses her nose. "You should probably go change so you can pay and we can leave..." he says to her. "Cause if we continue, we won't make it home..." He adds as a sort of an after thought in his head...

Hazel giggles, knowing exactly what is going through his mind right now. She says, "Not yet, big boy. You know that I want to wait until we're married, if that ever happens."

"I know, I know. Now go." he chuckles. As she goes to the cashier and pays, Frank checks his pockets to make sure that the really important little box is still there. It is. That is where he went when Hazel wondered into this store. He just needs a week to prepare...

His thoughts are interrupted when Hazel walks over. "You ready to go?" she asks.

"Yep." Frank responds as he stands up.

As they walk out the door, Frank wraps his arm around her waist to let every guy on the planet know that Hazel Levesque is his, at least for now. Soon she will, hopefully, be Hazel Zhang.
