"Is this correct?" the demigod asks Annabeth. He holds out a box, which she takes, and she peers inside.

"Oh yes! It is perfect," she smiles happily, "Thank you so much." She leaves the cabin with the present in hand.

Tomorrow in August 18th and you know what that means. It's Percy's birthday. (A/N: I know it's not August now, but this was an idea given to me a while ago.)

Going to the Hephaestus cabin is a risk because Percy may be suspicious. Then again, he is a Seaweed Brain and needs to be reminded when dinner is.

None the less, he and Annabeth have grown closer together. Nothing shows that more than the present she has gotten him. Speaking of presents and birthdays and parties, it's time to start setting up the surprise.

Annabeth quickly goes to the Athena cabin and stores the present in her secret place. She then runs over to the beach to see that a lot of people have already gathered.

A fast check of the list confirms that everyone is here: Juniper, Grover, Clarisse, Katie, Connor, Travis, Malcom, Will, and a few others.

"Alright!" Annabeth calls out, "It's time to get to work. Stolls, you are in charge of making sure Percy comes nowhere near the beach. I don't care what you do, just nothing harmful to anyone." They head off with matching mischievous grins. "Grover and Juniper, you are in charge of decorations. Clarisse and Katie, you are in charge of food. Malcom and Will, you are in charge of invitations." She claps her hand loudly. "Let's get to work."

By the time they have completed all of their tasks, the sun has begun to set. Percy has not been sighted and a Hecate girl put a spell around to party site to obscure it from anyone but her and Annabeth.

Time flies by and soon the morning breakfast bell is ringing. That's everyone's cue.

Annabeth approaches Percy as he stumbles out of his cabin with his hair sticking up all over the place.

"Percy!" Annabeth calls. His face immediately lights up when he sees her. "Happy Birthday."

"Thanks Wise Girl," he says as he reaches around her and pulls her close. He kisses her forehead and rests his chin on the top of her head.

"So, do you have anything planned today?" She asks slyly.

"Well, I was going to go eat breakfast - Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Serving it up Gary's way - and then I wanted to send as much time as I could with you," he says.

"Was that a SpongeBob song?" she wonders.

"Yeah. It's from the episode 'Lost Identity'. I like that one," Percy states.

"Oh. Okay. Well, that plan sounds pretty good," Annabeth agrees. "Let's go to breakfast."

On their way over, Percy gets told 'Happy Birthday' several times by many people. He is a pretty famous demigod after all. They have to separate to go to their respective tables, but quickly meet up afterword.

"Hey. Where did everyone go?" Percy wonders.

"I don't know," Annabeth answers untruthfully.

"Should we be worried?" he continues.
