Short Story #31 - Talking To The Moon - Calypso and Leo

Leo sat at the wheel of the Argo II. It was late and the moon was full. Coach Hedge was on patrol and he was singing a song about clubbing a monster to death.

As "Die! Die! Fearful of my club! Die! DIe! Close you are to dead!" drifted off to the other end of the boat, Leo started talking to the moon.

"Hey. I know you're out there. Somewhere far away. There's someone out there for me. No one understands. I need someone to be all I have. I have a dragon and some awesome friends, but I need someone." he says looking at the moon.

Calypso sat alone on her island. She yearned to meet another boy. Percy Jackson has been the last one to visit her island. The gods had been sooooo generous as to show her how he is doing today. He is very happy with Annabeth. Calypso is glad that he is happy, but she wants someone to care for her the way they do. She stares at the sky, at the moon, at the gods.

"Hey. I know you're out there. Somewhere far away. There's someone out there for me. No one understands. I need someone to be all I have. I have an island and a garden, but I need someone." She says looking at the moon.

Little did Leo or Calypso know that their fates were intertwined.

I don't really know what to do for that so I would love some suggestions. Once I get 10 suggestions I will put out another note asking you guys to vote on which one is your favorite!

I will be gone from late Friday, June 13th through Thursday, June 19th.
I will not have any time to update, but, I have lots of ideas and I can't wait to share them all with you!!

Wattpad fixed the app so I can edit and check things and update faster. Yay!!

I will update a lot more over the summer, by the way. I hope to update twice a week. My school gets out tomorrow!!! Yay!!! I can't wait.
