Short Story #10 - High Heels

*The dress shopping group has made another appearance at a different store*

"HEY! GET AWAY FROM ME!" Percy yells at Annabeth. She takes his words in, but continues to cackle as she runs after him with a pair of bright red 6 inch high heels.

"YOU ARE TRYIG THESE ON! MWHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Annabeth calls after him.

"Some reinforcements?" Percy asks as he runs by the rest of the group who had been watching this unfold. Frank, Jason, Piper, and Reyna all raised their hands in self defense. Leo and Hazel, on the other hand, stood up and raced toward Annabeth.

Right as Percy was about to do a victory cheer, because 3 overpowers 1, he saw the evil look in Hazel and Leo's eyes. He had been betrayed.

"AHHHHHH!" Percy screamed while running as far away from the 3 of them as possible.

Percy was hiding behind a shoe rack, hoping they wouldn't find him, when Hazel jumped around the corner and said, "BOO!"

Percy jumped and tried to run the other way, but found it blocked by Leo.

"Oh no..." Percy said.

"Oh yes." Hazel said.

"Ah, come on. You guys are seriously going to take Annabeth's side? Man." Percy whined.

All of a sudden Annabeth dropped down from the ceiling.

"What the heck? Where the.... How the... Who the..." Percy yelled. By this time the entire group had come to watch.

Annabeth had landed on Percy and was now sitting on his back, pulling his legs up so that she could easily put shoes on his feet.

"Now don't you ever underestimate me again!" Annabeth bellowed.

"Never! Just don't do it! Please don't!" Percy begged.

"Oh, but you must be punished." Annabeth said as she slid the first bright red 6 inch high heel on.

"No..." Percy whimpered.

"Oh this is so going on the Internet." said Reyna.

"Wait! You're recording this!! NO!" Percy yelled in defeat.

"Now for the next one." Annabeth said as she put the other one on. She got up off of Percy after she was satisfied with the fit of the shoes.

"Now stand." she commanded Percy. He did so and started to wobble around. Everyone was laughing, including Percy.

All of a sudden all the girls brought high heeled shoes out from behind their back, all in a different neon color. The boys shrieked and ran. Laughing the girls ran after them.

Annabeth had already gotten her target so she just helped Percy walk.
