Bryn's Pov -
“Stop that.” I say to Jason as he continues to look me in the eyes. His caramel brown iris’ sending me off into another world.
“Stop what?” He raised his eyebrows at me in confusion.
I laughed, looking away from him and up at the sky. We were laying in the grass, under a tree. The wind making the only noise around us. It was peaceful and for once in my life, I was sincerely happy. I didn’t have to worry about anything. There was no stress. Only happiness.
Jason was still staring at me and I bit the inside of my cheek fighting off the urge to blush.
I look at Jason from the corner of my eye, “Why do you keep staring at me like that?”
Jason looked away after I said that. Licking his lips, he shrugged.
I open my mouth to say something but instead I smile at him. I sit up in the grass, throwing my hair behind my head.
Jason sits up, putting an arm around my shoulder; I can feel his breath on my ear.
“Jane.”
I turned my head to look at Jason. “Yes?”
He inched his head closer to mine, leaning in. It wasn’t long before I felt his smooth lips press against mine. There was something about this kiss, it was different, I could feel his passion. Hell..I could even taste it.
Jason pulled away, staring at me. “Don’t ever change.”

I cock the gun in my hand.
“Don’t fuck with me Ryan,” I say, aiming it at his blonde shaggy hair.
“Bryn, seriously. I didn’t say anything to McCann or anyone in his group.” He pleaded, putting his hands up, as if they’d be able to protect him against a bullet to the head.
I grab him by his hair and drag him against the wall on the far right of the living room we were in. As I drag him, a glass bottle, which was settled on top of the coffee table, falls to the floor and shatters.
Shortly after a door opens on the second and floor and I hear footsteps along the hallway.
“Ryan what the hell is going on?” I hear a faint voice coming from up the stairs, followed by footsteps.
Not long after I see James, one of Ryan’s gang members, appear from the staircase.
James looks at me, his eyes shot open and he attempts to run back upstairs but I turn my aim at his kneecap and pull the trigger.
James falls down the stair case, crying out and holding onto his knee.
“What the fuck Bryn!” Ryan yells at me.
I turn my focus back on Ryan and smirk.
“Funny cause he was the one who told me about your little plan.”
“What?”
“You fucking told McCann’s group that we were plotting on bombing up their area when we weren’t. Now we have McCann up our asses and I don’t want shit to do with him. I already have my identity sealed; I don’t need him to find out what I look like.”
Around here, no one knows what I look like unless they’re about to die or you’re in my group. I’m too sneaky for everyone, not even the cops have a picture of me.
