Bryn’s POV –
Streams of sunlight trespass into my room. Irritating my eyes and forcing them to open.
I yawn, stretching my arms out in front of me and turning my head to see Blissity still sound asleep.
I turn my head to my left and looked at the clock placed on top of a small table.
It was three in the afternoon.
I lift up the blankets from my body and step out of bed, running a hand through my hair as I did so.
I walked out of my room, hearing the TV downstairs on and Derek talking to Zoey.
Walking down the stairs, it suddenly grew silent when they took in the sight of me.
“What?” I said my voice raspy from just waking up.
“Nothing, we were going to wake you. What time are you leaving for the restaurant?”
“Tatti said to be there around five or so. Are you driving me?”
Derek nodded, grabbing a cup that was set on the coffee table in front of him and bringing it to his lips.
When he pulled away he said, “When you come back, which I don’t know what time that’ll be around, we’ll discuss the shoot-out tomorrow.”
I nodded, heading back upstairs to brush my teeth and take a shower.
Jason’s POV –
“That’s what you’re wearing?” Damien said, pointing at me and grimacing all at once.
I looked at myself in the mirror. I was wearing a white shirt that read “Fuck Swag” across it. Black jeans that came down below my ass, and a pair of white stuffed Louis V high tops with silver lace. My hair was pushed up, exposing my forehead. I thought I looked pretty sexy.
I shrugged, “What’s wrong with it? It’s not like I’m going to some fancy restaurant or anything. It’s Chile’s we’re talking about Damien.”
He waved his hands up at me, “Whatever you say man. You still have a lot of time before it’s time for you to go. Still enough time to change that outfit.”
I stuck up my middle finger at Damien and he laughed, “Shut up bro. I’m wearing this, I think it’s fine.”
Damien shrugged, licking his lips, “Whatever you say man, whatever you say.”
I walked out of my room after Damien and we went downstairs to wear Jazmyn was talking to Megan in the living room and Chris was on the phone with someone in the kitchen.
“Why are you dressed up huh?” Jazmyn asked me, raising an eyebrow with a smirk on her face.
“None of your business Jazzy.” I squint my eyes, mocking her voice jokingly.
“You’re going on a date aren’t you?” She crossed her arms in front of her chest.
“No I’m just going out to eat later on.” I shot back at her.
“I know when you’re lying.” Jazmyn scoffed, rolling her eyes and looking at Megan who was sitting with her legs crossed and her arms folded in front of her.
Damien walked into the kitchen where Chris was still talking on the phone.
“Jazzy it’s none of your business what I’m doing OK? Stop asking questions.” I let her feel the authority in my voice.
She remained quiet and I took that as her final answer. I didn’t want to continue with back and forth argument anyway.
I walked into the kitchen just when Chris finally hung up his phone and pushed it in his pocket.
