Jason’s POV –
The faster I get this over and done with, the faster I can actually set up some things into my house. Calling Victoria isn’t something I’m doing because I personally want to do it, hell no. I’m doing this because it’s become a necessity and thank god I was able to track her number when she took Blissity or else this situation would have been slightly more difficult.
Getting away from Bryn wasn’t easy either. After our shower I took her out for breakfast and we walked around the neighborhood for a bit until she realized she had to check on Blissity. Every four hours she has to make sure Blissity is staying on top of the medication she was given. Bryn is extremely sensitive with the subject of her now; it’s hard talking about her without Bryn worrying that she’ll show up five minutes too late.
I promised to take her out for dinner; it’s been a while since we’ve been out together without distractions. I know she’ll love it and that’ll be one less thing for either of us to worry about.

“I’m going to go gather up my things for the house.” I say to Bryn, walking towards the door of Blissity’s room.
She looks back at me after tucking Blissity in for her evening nap. She sets the cup of her water in her hands on the bedside table and looks at me with suspicious eyes.
“You’ll be back for dinner?” She asks, walking towards me quietly enough not to cause the floor to creak.
We exit the room and she shuts the door behind her then looks up at me and waits for my final response.
“Yeah, I’ll be back before then. I’ll just be getting my clothes. Furniture is for tomorrow.” I wrap my arm around her shoulder as we begin walking down the hall towards the staircase. “You want to come?”
“I can’t.” She pouts, “Aria, Zoey, Tattiana and I are having some girl talk for a bit while Bliss gets her sleep.”
We stop at the foot of the staircase and she takes my arm, bringing it over her head and down by her side. I take a step down and turn around to look at her, even with being one step closer to the first floor; I was still taller than her.
“You’ll call me, right?” She smiles, lifting up a hand to fix my hair.
“Yeah, when I’m on my way back.”
“Derek will drive you home so you can use your car.” She nods, inspecting my hair for perfection.
“Alright, see you later.” I say and give her a quick kiss on the lips.

Now all I have to do is get Victoria out of the equation. I pondered all night, before finally drifting off into a deep slumber, about the letter given to me. It would be foolish of me to simply go along with Victoria’s demands and basically become her puppet when I can easily take her out myself. Or Bryn, for the matter, because if anyone deserves to spill Victoria’s blood more than I do, it’s Bryn.
The phone rings for about the fifth time and I begin to think that maybe she wouldn’t recognize the number and I should hang up. I was walking around my empty living room, staring at the lime green colored walls that will be painted once this situation is over and done with.
While searching online with Bryn, she helped me find a pretty decent house. Far from where I used to live, which is good, and far from where most of the other gangs around Valencia live. It was spacious, four bedrooms and three bathrooms. One on the first floor, second floor and one in my room which happened to be a master bedroom.
