Bryn’s POV –
Derek pulls up in the drive way in front of our house.
I wake up, yawning, unlocking the car door and stepping out onto the pavement.
“We were talking about Jason while you were asleep.” Zoey said, closing the door shut behind her.
I walked onto the porch waiting for Derek to unlock the door.
“I already told you guys. I’m going to kill him and we won’t have anything to worry about.”
“Yea but just how exactly are you going to do that?” Tattiana was saying when Derek opened the door.
We all followed him inside. I flicked on the light to the left of the threshold, lighting up the living room.
“It’s fucking two in the morning Tatti, I’m not thinking about a plan right now.”
“Plan? For what?” Blissity, my little sister, was laying on the couch, I hadn’t noticed the TV was on.
“Bryn here,” Tatti said, patting my back, “Fucked up on the job and now Jason McCann knows what she sounds like.
I turn to look at Tatti, “Don’t fuck with me.”
She laughed and walked over to the couch, sitting next to Blissity.
I rolled my eyes, taking off my jacket.
“Did you really?” Blissity asked.
I nodded, throwing my hair back behind my head.
“Well, you didn’t let me finish what I was saying outside.” Zoey spoke up.
Everyone focused their attention on Zoey now; she cleared her throat as if she were making a speech.
“In the car we discussed a plan for you to kill Jason ‘cause I knew you wouldn’t have one.”
I crossed my arms in front of my chest, “OK? Spill it.”
“I can set up a trap for you.” Derek’s voice spoke up from the dining room. He walked into the living room, standing next to Zoey. “I’ve spoken with McCann before. I can just make something up; tell him you want to speak with him. Tell him to meet with you at a certain area. You take care of the rest.”
I grinned devilishly, “I like that. Do it now.”
“What?” Derek answered bewildered.
“I said, do it now. I’ll meet with him tomorrow. I don’t mind. The sooner we kill him. The better.” I put emphasis on the last sentence. Showing them I wanted to get this shit over with.
McCann was annoying me, just the mentioning of his name made my blood boil.
I can’t believe I was so foolish to let him hear my voice.
I open my mouth to add more to what I was saying but close it once Tattiana stands up, pulling her phone out of her pocket.
“Hold on, my mom is calling.” She says, walking passed me and out onto the front porch.
Jason’s POV -
I finally arrive in front of Ryan’s house. I had parked my car a block away in case the cops were to arrive. I didn’t need them getting my license plate.
I lick my lips, noticing the living light was on.
Who the hell was that on the phone? I walk onto the porch steps.
