Dan sighed as he put his phone back in his jeans pocket and followed John.
It had been a while since he had been in John's suite, so it seemed unfamiliar, but as he walked past, he would be hit with memories. Memories with John, but also with him.
"Are you sure that he won't come back?" Dan questioned.
John paused in his walking and shook his head, "I can't guarantee that, Dan."
Dan snapped, "Then I'm not sure I want to be here."
John sighed. "Dan.. just.. if he does come around, ignore him."
That would be hard to do. He always did whatever he could to get a reaction from Dan.
It annoyed Dan, to say the least.
John led Dan to his old room, which only contained a single bed. When he moved out, he had taken all of his stuff out. The room was bare.
Dan laid down on the bed, staring down at his phone in his hand. It was like he was anticipating something.
His phone rang, and a look down at the screen showed that it was from a blocked number. He answered the call and put it next to his ear. "Hello?"
"Hey buddy, you in John's suite?" Nick's irritating voice greeted.
Dan snarled, "How the fuck do you know that?"
Nick chuckled. "Oh Danny, I have my ways."
Dan's grip on his phone tightened, "This isn't funny."
"To you, maybe." Nick answered.
Nick then hung up, leaving Dan alone and angry.
What was he to do now?
Dan sighed and picked his phone up again and called Phil. Now that he had time, he might as well settle things with him.
"Dan?" Phil greeted, hopefully.
"Um, hello," Dan answered awkwardly.
"Who'd you go with?" Phil asked.
Dan, who was still annoyed because of the phone call earlier with Nick, muttered, "I don't want to talk about it."
Phil paused. "Alright, I guess.. Um, about what happened earlier..."
"Yeah?"
"Did that mean anything to you, Dan?"
This was a good question. Dan was a flirty shit, so did that flirting escapade from earlier mean anything? To Phil, who had just realized his gayness, it meant a lot, and then some.
Dan was thinking.
Phil was better for him than John had ever been, but he still wasn't able to get enough of John.
He made up his mind.
"Yes," he said. "I may flirt a lot, but I've never even tried to with you.. That's cause I was nervous."
Phil giggled. "Nervous of little old' me?"
The call ended shortly after. They were going to discuss things more when Dan got home, but they both knew they were basically together now. The talk would just be the specifics.
Sighing, Dan walked out of the room and knocked on John's door, who answered it a second later, as if he was expecting him. As John came into view, Dan noticed the rose that was clutched in his mouth. "Yes?" John questioned.
