Prompt:
Lou is the mommy for the boys, they are in a headspace. But when interviewer James comes over for a interview at their house. That means they have to get out of their headspace, and that is okay until it is time to go to bed.

'Babes, can you come over please?' Lou asks as she carries a very sleepy Niall and Harry in her arms. Liam and Louis were already awake for at least half an hour but the two little ones love their nap. Liam and Louis walk to the couch and climb on it. 'Okay boys, I want you four to listen to me. Today is James coming over for a day for an interview here in our house.' 'Noooooooo.' Liam screams, tears welling up in his eyes. 'I'm sorry sweetie but it is just until 10 o'clock in the evening.' Lou says as she rubs Liam's back. 'So loves I want you four to get out of your headspace for now.' Lou says.

Well when Lou said "out of your headspace" all the boys understood what was going on, not one of the boys could hold up the tears. Lou sighs, knowing this would happen. She takes the clothes which she took with her. 'Babes don't be so upset, you all love James!' She says as she starts to change Louis' clothes. 'Mommy, don't want.' Louis says crying as he watches Lou changes his pull up and then puts big boy clothes on him. 'Want dummy.' Louis mumbles as he tries to keep the pants away. 'No Louis, you have to be a big boy.' Lou says as she pulls the pants up.

'But mommy!' Louis whines. Well when he sees Lou's face he knows enough. 'Sorry mommy.' Louis mumbles. Lou nods and puts him on the other side of the couch. She changes the boys and get them out of their headspace. Well just in time because the bell rings. 'Sit here and be calm.' Lou says and walks to the front door. 'Hi James!' She says smiling as she opens the front door. 'Hi Lou! How are you?' James asks smiling. 'I'm fine, thank you! Come in love, the boys are in the living room!' James smiles and walks to the boys. 'Hi guys!'

And while the boys are having their interview with James, Lou is preparing dinner. During the interview, Harry is starting to get a bit fussy. He used his nappy and wants a change. 'Are you okay Harold?' James asks confused, noticing the change in his attitude. 'I'm fine.' He mumbles and looks for Lou. Liam, who sits next to Harry, notices what is wrong. 'Go to Lou Hazzy.' He says, well luckily for him Lou just walks into the room. 'I've got some snacks love.' She says smiling. 'Lou?' Harry asks softly. Lou looks to the boy and knows exactly what is wrong. 'Haz? Can you help me with making some drinks?' Harry nods in relief and stands up.

Lou takes Harry to the bathroom and lays him down on the floor. 'Is everything okay Haz?' She asks as she takes his pants off. 'Embarrassed.' Harry mumbles, he is rarely out of his headspace plus he just peed himself. 'But you are doing so well Harry, just a couple more hours and then you can sleep boo.' Harry giggles at the thought of being little again. Lou gives a kiss on the boy's head and helps him stand up. 'Now if you take two glasses of soda then I will be behind you with the others.' Lou says as she washes her hands.

Harry nods and takes two glasses of soda to the other boys who are laughing. He looks shy to Lou, preferring to be with her. 'Go love, dinner is served in less than an hour.' Lou says while walking to the couch with the drinks. Harry nods and sits down, now next to Louis. Louis smiles and puts his arm around the boy. 'You okay Haz?' Louis whispers in his ear. Harry nods and relaxes into him.

After half an hour the boys are called for dinner. 'Lou, Liam, go to the toilet before you sit down please.' Lou says to them before she puts the pans on the table. 'Mo-Lou, can I sit next to you?' Niall says, his cheeks turning bright red when he almost said mommy. 'Yes of course love.' Lou says smiling and takes Niall to the stove. 'Stay big Niall, just a couple more hours.' Lou says before pointing to him where he needs to sit. Niall nods and quickly sits down. All the boys sit down and Lou puts food on everyone's plate. 'Enjoy your meal loves!' Lou says, knowing that eating time is the toughest of them all.

Well it is going perfect until 5 minutes passed. Liam accidentally dropped his glass, not really used to drink from glass. Normally all the boys would drink from sippy cups. Liam starts to cry, slipping into his headspace. 'Shhh love, don't worry. Everything is alright.' Lou says as she cuddles the boy. Liam nods and rubs his eyes. 'Why don't you sit down on my chair while I clean it up?' Liam nods and sits down in between Harry and Niall. Well that is not what Niall wants. Niall starts to kick his legs. 'Hey mister.' Lou says stern, Niall stops it right away, knowing he is a bad boy. He looks down as tears roll down his cheeks.

'Sorry James, dinner is tough here in the 1D household.' Lou says as she throws away the glass. 'Oh, don't worry. I have 2 kids at home so I kinda know how it is. Well you are lucky that these boys are grown up.' James says smiling. Lou decides to laugh it off awkwardly. James sees Niall crying so he decides to go to him, he kneels down. 'Is everything okay Nialler?' James asks carefully, not knowing if there is something wrong. Niall looks up with red puffy eyes to James. 'Hey buddy? Is everything okay?' James asks again. Niall shakes his head and rubs his eyes. 'Aren't you hungry Nialler? You barely ate something.' Niall shrugs and leans into James. 'I think someone is tired.' James says smiling as he rubs Niall's back. 'Ni, you have to eat something boo.' Lou says as she sits down on Liam's chair. Niall shakes his head. Lou walks to the boy and rubs his back. 'Why not Ni? Are you feeling sick?' She asks, actually knowing what is wrong. He wants to be feed instead of feeding himself.

Niall quickly puts his arms around Lou's neck. 'I think we should feed you and put you to bed. It was a long day for you.' Lou says as she stands up with the boy and sits down with Niall on her lap. 'Thank you James.' Lou says smiling. James smiles and sits down again, starting to talk to Louis again. Lou starts to feed the over tired boy who is almost falling asleep on her lap. After 10 bites the boy is fast asleep on Lou's lap. 'Lou? Need potty.' Louis stresses as he taps her shoulder. 'Okay lets go.' Lou says, knowing it is serious when a little boy says he needs the toilet. 'I will be right back boys.' She says and rushes with Louis to the toilet while carrying Niall in her arms.

Luckily Louis is just in time for the toilet. 'I will put Niall to bed, When you finished, don't forget to wipe and to wash your hands, then you go back to the kitchen again.' Lou says. 'But mommy you need to be with me, other wise it no work.' Louis says, looking shy to his hands. 'Okay babe.' She says, knowing this will be the easiest way. Louis makes a couple funny faces until he starts to pee. 'My big boy!' Lou says proudly, Lou is trying to get the boy potty trained. Louis giggles and gets off the toilet seat when he is done. 'Mommy? Lou Lou sleep with mommy tonight?' 'Only because you showed me how such a good big boy you are!' Lou says and gives a kiss on his head. Louis smiles brightly and wipes himself and cleans his hands. 'I will put Niall in bed now okay?' Louis nods and runs back to the kitchen.

Louis starts to giggle when he sees the boys. They are full of tomato sauce. 'Loulou!' Harry says happily. 'You boys are dirty!' Louis says giggling, totally forgetting James is with them. Well that is not a thing the boys want to hear, the tears well up in their eyes and not that much later the boys are crying. 'Boys, is this a joke? Please tell me what is going on.' James says, not understanding what is going on anymore. Lou rushes into the kitchen. 'Boys I think it is bedtime for you two as well!' Lou says sighing as she takes Liam's and Harry's hand. 'I'm really sorry James, they have had a very busy morning so they are a bit fussy and tired.' Lou says. James nods and walks to Louis who is in the living room.

Well it didn't take long for the boys to fall asleep so Lou is in 10 minutes already downstairs. She smiles at the sight. Louis is leaning on James with his head on James' shoulder. 'Babe, you sure you aren't tired?' Lou says and sits down next to Louis. Louis shakes his head but Lou can see the tiredness in his eyes. And in 5 minutes she proofed she was right. Louis is fast asleep against James. 'You know you could have called me to change the date Lou.' James says. 'I know, but everyday will happen the same thing. They aren't used to hate, so much stress and the paps. They need to find a thing where they can release the stress. And that is why I'm here.' 'So you are like their mommy?' Lou smiles and nods, knowing James still hasn't a clue that the boys are fast asleep in their cribs, with a nappy on and a dummy in their mouth.
