"Are you ready?" I asked Mitch and Auston.

Right now we are surprising Steph for her 21st birthday.

She fell asleep on the couch so we decided that this was the perfect time to do it.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!" We yelled as Mitch and Auston popped the confetti and I sprayed her with silly string.

Steph woke up and looked at us like she was going to kill us.

"Why did I fall asleep on the couch?" She mumbled to herself.

"Steph let's go out and celebrate!" I said with excitement.

"Okay but first I have to remove the silly string from my hair" she said in a grumpy voice before heading off to the washroom.

"Okay i'm going to get ready, you guys better clean this up" I said turning around.

"Hey!" Mitch said stopping me.

"What?"

"This is your idea why do we have to clean it up?" Auston said.

"Do you really want me to mess up your pretty faces" I said.

"Not my face" Mitch jokingly puts his hands on his face.

"Eh your face isn't really that pretty anyways" I said walking into my room.

"She got you good" I heard Auston say.

"TIME TO PARTY!!" Steph says as we walk into the club.

"Let's get a drink" I said to Steph grabbing her hand and taking her to the bar.

"2 shots of tequila!" I said to the bartender.

The bartender hands us our drinks.

"Cheers to being best friends!" I said.

"CHEERS!"

We both take a shot, I can feel the tequila burning my throat.

"2 more shots!" Steph says.

"Hello ladies"

Steph and I turn around to see two men looking at us.

"What do you want?" I asked.

"I want your number" one of the men said taking a seat next to me.

"Sorry i'm taken" Steph says.

"How about you?" The other guy says.

"I have my eye on a guy but it's complicated" I said not making eye contact with any of them.

I suddenly feel a hand being placed on my thigh.

"DON'T TOUCH HER!" I hear another voice say coming from behind me.

I turn around and see Auston standing there with an angry expression on his face.

"Auston not now" I said to him.

"So this is the guy" the man said.

"Yeah and now you get this"

Auston punches the guy in his face.

"AUSTON!" I said helping the guy up.

"What the hell was that for?" I said to Auston.

"I was helping you" he said.

"Helping me with what? You are not the boss of me!" I said as Auston looks at me with a sad face.

"I need some fresh air" I said walking out of the bar.

I walk out and decided to go home.

Gosh why can't he let me make my own decisions
