Malina: PREGNANT? How could this be possible?

Dr. Turner: you really don't know?

Malina: i mean, i know, but ive been careful. 

dr. Turner: what is careful, to you i mean? what do do you consider to be careful?

Malina: ive been using condoms, but...

Pilar: but what? (saying getting mad)

Malina: i havent been using them with Jo-Jo, for a few of the times that we've had sex. (says while cringing because she knows that her sister and mom are gonna be pissed)

Pilar: are you serious? Dr., how many weeks is she?

Dr. Turner: i dont know yet. the nurse will come in, and do a sonogram on her shortly. any other questions before i leave?

Pilar: no, thank you.

-the doctor leaves-

Pilar: what are you going to do with a baby?

Malina: im going to take care of it. 

Pilar: you need to move here. i dont want you staying in LA. especially if it's Jo-Jo's baby. 

Malina: no! i love LA. i have family there too. and besides, i dont want to ruin any chance of success that Jo-Jo may gain by being in the music business.

Pilar: but if that is his child, you need to let him be in his or her life. at least tell him about the baby.

Malina: okay.

-----BACK AT THE HOUSE----

Jo-Jo: yall wanna play some cards?

Dalvin: hell yea! 

-Jo-Jo pulls the cards out of the drawer, and slaps them on the dining room table. the boys take a seat around the table, as "Coming To America" plays on the TV screen.-

DeVante: what game are we playin?

Dalvin: Go fish!

-they all start to laugh-

K-ci: naw! we playing "i declare war".

Dalvin: oh! thats a classic, my G.

---BACK AT THE HOSPITAL---

-The nurse comes in with a monitor to do the sonogram-

Nurse: hi, my name is Nurse Linda. nice to meet you both!

Pilar: nice to meet you too. im sorry my sister has bit of an attitude right now. (she says looking Malina's stank face)

Nurse Linda: that's okay. im going to take a look at your uterus. 

-she starts to hook up the machine-

Nurse: this is going to be cold. (places the camera onto her stomach) wow! you see that little empty spot right there (points), that's where the fetus will appear in a few weeks, and eventually it will turn into a baby. (says smiling with joy)

Malina: (face lightens up) how far along am i?

Nurse: 3 weeks. 

-Pilar and Malina look at each other with faces of shock, simply because they know who the father is.-

Nurse: any questions?

Malina: ive been drinking lately, will the baby still be okay?

Nurse: it should be okay. i would advise you to take vitamins, especially pre-natals. also, follow up with your OBGYN as soon as possible. its crucial to do so.
