Pilar: what's wrong?
-Phyllis walks in before the dr. could respond.-
Phyllis: how's my baby doing? (kisses her on the forehead)
Pilar: i dont know. im trying to find out with the baby.
Dr. James: correction: babies.
Devante: what the hell you just say man?
Dr. James: babies. like 2. 2 boys.
-Devante passes out right on the floor.-
Pilar: oh lord! what the hell am i gonna do with another set of twins?! why am i always having twins?
Phyllis: umm... (looking guilty)
Pilar: what is it Phyllis? spill it!
Dr. James: im gonna leave yall alone. (he leaves)
Phyllis: well, i was a twin. he died when we were born. and you were a twin, but she was stillborn. the only one that wasn't a twin was Malina.
Pilar: what the hell?! how come i never heard grandma talk about your brother? and how come i never heard you talk about my sister?
Phyllis: too much heartache. i always wondered as to what i did wrong. why did your sister die? why did God keep you and not her or both?
Pilar: why the fuck couldnt Malina have this problem?
Phyllis: i dont know. your aunt Juanita doesnt have this problem either. Malina may have twins next, because my mom had your aunt first, then me and my brother. then i had you and your twin, then Malina.
Pilar: oooohhhh (touches her stomach) these contractions.
Shaunie: (walks in) why is De on the floor?
Pilar: oh shit! i forgot he was down there. (giggles)
Shaunie: (kicks devante) boy get up!
Devante: (sits up) man! i had this crazy dream that the dr. told us that we were having twins.
Pilar: oh no, that wasnt a joke. we're having twin boys.
Shaunie: what??? (passes out)
Pilar: oh god! (rolls eyes) give me that cup with the ice chips mom.
Phyllis: i dont know why shes on the floor. shes not the one that has to take care of them.
Devante: yeah, well im gonna have to make up another bedroom.
Phyllis: where are the boys?
Pilar: theyre at the cafeteria.
Pilar: OH MYYYY GOOOOOODDDDDDDDDDDDD!!! (Clutches stomach)
Devante: i havent heard you say it like that in a long time. (laughs)
-Phyllis and Pilar look at him with a serious face.-
Dr. James: (walks in) well lets take a look at your cervix. (looks down) why is there a person on floor?
Devante: she passed out.
Dr. James: (looks into the cervix) wow! you are fully dilated. it's time to push! let me call in a nurse, and i will be right back. (he then leaves).
-shaunie wakes up confused.-
Shaunie: whats going on?
Pilar: im about to push.
-the boys walk in with bags of food.-
K-Ci: whats up yall?
Devante: we're having twins.
Dalvin: what? come again?
pilar: im having 2 boys.
-The 3 boys all pass out at the same time.-
Phyllis: really?!
Pilar: oh mama, i wouldve past out on the floor too, but im in too much pain.
Dr. James: (walks in) okaaayyy (steps over the boys) i already know what thats about. i brung in some nurses to help out.
Pilar: hurry up! im pushing one baby's head out!
-the dr. runs to her bed and grabs the baby's head. Pilar keeps pushing, as Malina walks in. the baby is now out.-
Malina: yaayyy! the baby is here! i guess yall are gonna be waiting awhile to get pregnant again huh? (giggles)
Pilar: okay... the other one is coming! (pushes really hard as sweat is taking over her face).
Malina: other one?
-the Dr. helps deliver the other baby.-
Malina: uummm... madam? where dis other baby come from?
Pilar: (wipes sweat off of her) where do you think? my vagina of course!!
Malina: wait twins? we didnt ask for twins!!! (passes out into Phyllis' arms).
Pilar: what the hell is wrong with yall?
Dr. James: wait... i think i see another---
