-Pilar arrives at the hospital on a stretcher.-
Paramedic Jane: We have a patient here, singer Pilar. she was shot in the chest. she doesnt have a pulse. we revived her at least 3 times. her heart stopped as soon as we pulled her out of the ambulance.
Dr. Mike hamilton: okay!! we'll take it from here.
-The doctors and nurses rush her into a room. They do CPR until she finally received a pulse. it was faint.-
Nurse Jackie: I called her mother. her family are on the way.
Dr. hamilton: wonderful! she may not be alive for long, so its good that they will be here. im gonna move her into the ICU.
--IN VIRGINIA, AT THE HOTEL--
-The boys are in Devante's room.-
Devante: (rushing to pack everything) listen, ive got to leave the tour again.
Jo-Jo: man whats going on?
Devante: Pilar was shot! her mother just called me.
K-Ci: aww man!!!
Dalvin: well, we will keep her in my prayers.
Devante: thanks man. (leaves out)
--AT THE HOSPITAL, IN PILAR'S ROOM.--
Phyllis: (petting Pilar's head) i wish you would wake up, baby. (cries)
Shaunte: (holds Pilar's hand) You have so much to live for P! you have kids, a husband, a career. you cant leave this planet now!
-Malina is standing at the end of the bed, crying. the room is full of weary, cries and Pilar's monitor. her heart rate is so low. 40 beats per minute. her blood pressure, 90/30.-
--2 HOURS LATER.--
Devante: (rushes into the room) HEY BABY! (cradles her face with his hands) she's so cold.
Phyllis: yeah.
-Dr. hamilton comes in the room.-
Dr. Hamilton: good evening everyone. um... im sorry about everything that has happened today. im here to give yall the full synopsis of what happened today. so first, Pilar was found in a pool of blood from a gunshot wound to the heart, by the paramedics. She did in fact call 911, before she passed away for the first time. 10 minutes later, she was put into the ambulance, where she was brought back to life for a few minutes, and then lost her life again. this happened a few times. she arrived at the hospital 20 minutes after she was picked up. and we revived her. now as you can see, she has a low heart rate, blood pressure is dangerously low and she is cold to the touch, due to the lack of blood circulation. so, she is stable right now. the next 24 hours are critical. if she gets better, her chances of surviving will be high. if she gets worst, then she may be put on life support, or possibly die.
-Phyllis and her other daughters start to cry.-
Dr. Hamilton: i am so sorry. (leaves out)
Devante: baby, i need you! you are everything to me. we didnt even have the other two kids that you wanted yet.
Malina: (wipes tears) i wonder who did this to her.
Shaunte: it better not have been that Eazy-E boy.
-The nurse comes in.-
Nurse Jackie: hello, um, visiting hours are over. so whom ever isnt staying over tonight, needs to leave. sorry, not my rules.
Phyllis: no, we understand. i need to get the kids from Amy anyway.
-Phyllis, Shaunte, Malina and the nurse leaves.-
--NEXT DAY--
-Devante wakes up, and is surprised to see Pilar's heart rate go up to 56 beats per minute. she has a blood pressure of 100/80. she still is unconscious, though. Devante decides to walk to the hospital cafeteria to get something in his stomach. although Devante doesnt want to eat, he was always told by his suffering wife, that he should eat to get energy.-
-After 30 minutes of eating in the cafeteria, he returns back to Pilar's room, only to find her gone out of her bed. the vital sign monitor, off. Devante then comes to the conclusion, that his wife had...-
