-In Pilar's room-

Pilar: good morning honey.

Devante: good morning, fiancee. (smiles at her).

Pilar: ive gotta get up and get dressed. im gonna be on Video soul in a few hours. can you fix me some toast and bacon please?

Devante: sure thang! (heads downstairs)

-Devante walks downstairs and sees the boys.-

Dalvin: so i take it that she said yes.

Devante: yep!

Jo-Jo: yeah! we heard yall last night.

Devante: oops! (laughs) i need that skillet K-ci. 

Jo-Jo: what you about to make?

Devante: im gonna make some toast and bacon for P. she's about to head out soon. (puts the bacon in the pan).

Jo-Jo: here's the toast.

Devante: put both pieces in the toaster for me.

Jo-Jo: okay. but De?

Devante: yeah?

Jo-Jo: did yall tell Phyllis yet?

Devante: nah! P is prolly tellin her now. 

-Doorbell rings.-

Jo-Jo: imma get it. (jogs to the door).

Phyllis: hello, Jo-Jo! (walks in) good morning boys! 

K-ci: good morning. would like some breakfast?

Phyllis: oh no thank you. im actually headed out for breakfast with my sister later. where's my daughter?

Devante: upstairs. 

-Phyllis walks upstairs into Pilar's room.-

Phyllis: hello my darlin. 

Pilar: hey mama! (gives her a hug) what'cha doin here so early?

Phyllis: thought i'd stop by. im going to breakfast with your aunt Juanita in a few.

Pilar: oh! i love aunt Janet! 

-Pilar never called Janet by her nickname. a nickname given by Phyllis' mom.-

Phyllis: yes, you've always loved Juanita.

(Phyllis takes a double look at Pilar's left hand).

Phyllis: harpo! what's that on your finger?

Pilar: a 3-stoned diamond engagement ring! (says smiling)

Phyllis: OMG! 

-They both start jumping around. happy as can be).

Pilar: you're really happy for me?

Phyllis: absolutely honey! so when is the wedding?

Pilar: September. 

Phyllis: ooohh! such a mellow month. 

-Pilar and Phyllis start walking down to the kitchen.-

Pilar: De, is my food ready?

Devante: yes baby. (gives her the plate)

Pilar: thank you.

Phyllis: so congrats on the engagement. the ring is beautiful.

Devante: thank you. 

Pilar: this is so good!

Devante: damn baby. calm down. both pieces of toast are gone already? at least chew your bacon.

Pilar: its really good. (chews both pieces). i need to get going. i will see yall later. (kisses Devante). come on mom.

-Pilar and Phyllis walks out of the door.-

Donnie: Welcome back to Video Soul. once again, i am your host, Donnie Simpson, filling in for Madelyne wood. Today, we have a special guest. Ms. Spicy herself, Pilar. Thank you for joining us.

Pilar: thank you for having me. 

Donnie: do you ever get tired of being called "Ms. Spicy"?

Pilar: nope. i actually like my new moniker. it's a very cute nickname. it's spicy. 

-they both laugh.-

Donnie: so are you completely done with Eazy-E?

Pilar: yes! completely done! we are through. im focused on Devante now. we are completely in love. 

Donnie: after dated for just 2 months?

Pilar: yes! we are so in love that he proposed to me last night. (shows the ring).

Donnie: wow! that's nice. congrats! how is the JoDeCi cd going?

Pilar: its going well. the boys are working very hard. it might come out January of next year. so 1991 will start off very well as far as music is concerned.

Donnie: good! so when is the wedding?

Pilar: September. we havent set a date yet. but September.

Donnie: any babies soon?

Pilar: nooo (laughs and smiles). nope. we are both 21 years old. we dont want any babies right now. maybe next year, like the very end of '91 or the beginning of '92. (smiles).

Donnie: well alright. so we won't be expecting any babies this year. 

Pilar: nope. we are taking pre-cautions to stop that. (smiles)

Donnie: so, you're not a virgin anymore? (shock is all over his face)

Pilar: no! (laughs) i lost my virginity last month. so im not America's Virgin Mary anymore. 

Donnie: wow! so how's your sister?

Pilar: she's doing good. she's actually a few weeks pregnant. 

Donnie: really? is it Jo-Jo's?

Pilar: no! Suge's baby.

Donnie: really! is Jo-Jo upset?

Pilar: he doesnt know. i guess he will know after he sees this.

Donnie: yeah! did she know that she was pregnant before she hooked up with Jo-Jo?

Pilar: no. we found out a few days after she and him started seeing each other. but my sister is back in LA with Rainn and Richard and of course Suge. and Jo-Jo is focused on the music.

Donnie: good. well, we are now ready to show the world your music video to your latest song, "Spicy". thank you for joining us Pilar. 

Pilar: anytime. and you and Madelyne, as well as Sherry, will get an invite to the wedding.
