-IN THE KITCHEN-

Pilar: are you ready to move?

Devante: yes! of course!

Pilar: the movers should be here at any moment.

Devante: okay.

-Phyllis comes in in the door.-

Phyllis: i cant believe yall are moving so far away! (says while sobbing)

Pilar: itll be okay mom. (laughs) we'll be an hour away from each other, instead of 15 minutes.

Devante: (whispers to himself) thank god!

Phyllis: the movers are actually outside!

Pilar: open the door for them please.

-Phyllis opens the door, and the movers come right in!-

Pilar: hey guys! let me show yall the rooms that you need to pack.

-Pilar and the movers go upstairs.-

-5 hours later-

Pilar: (walks into the new house) finally! we are moved in officially!

Devante: yes babe! we've got privacy. (says smiling while grabs Pilar around the waist from the back).

Pilar: i hope that the boys will be okay with out you. (smiles)

Devante: oh yeah! they will be! they will make the house into a bachelor pad. (laughs)

Pilar: i cant wait for us to start our lives together. 

Devante: i know! but ive got somethin for ya.

Pilar: what?

-Devante takes Pilar upstairs into their bedroom-

Devante: go into your closet.

Pilar: (walks in) BAAAABBBYY! 

-Pilar comes out, holding a huge picture of Demita's sonogram.-

Pilar: this is beautiful! thank you so much! (smiles) do you have a copy?

Devante: yeah, its in my closet. 

Pilar: our first child (smiles)... i needed this. (kisses Devante). to be quite honest, im excited to give you another one. 

Devante: yeah, but you know what the plan is: wait until '91!

Pilar: i know. 

Devante: its 5 months away, babe. youll be fine.

Pilar: so, im gonna go get ready for the baby shower. 

Devante: baby shower? 

Pilar: Shaunte! duh!

Devante: right!! ive gotta get in the shower.

Pilar: (walks into the bathroom) Well come on then. (smiles) 

---LATER AT THE BABY SHOWER---

Shaunte: (getting a burger) i did all of this decorating. i am tired.

Pilar: i bet! why didnt you ask me to do it?

Shaunte: you got a lot going on. i wanted to you to enjoy married life.

Pilar: i am enjoying it very much! i cant believe that im married to such a wonderful man. to be honest, i thought that i was gonna marry Tupac.

Shaunte: what??!!!
