Devante: (rolling over on his side of the bed to look at Pilar) babe?

Pilar: (halfway asleep) hmm?

Devante: i gotta get ready for the Video Soul interview.

Pilar: (mumbling) okay. have fun.

-Devante gets out of bed and goes into the bathroom.-

-Downstairs-

Jo-Jo: im so hype for this interview, man!

Dalvin: you think the viewers are gonna like the video?

K-ci: hell yeah! they better! (laughs)

Jo-Jo: we gotta be there in an hour. Fine ass Sherry is gonna be there.

Dalvin: (walking to the kitchen) yeah, your girlfriend! 

Jo-Jo: who said that was my girlfriend? (sitting on the couch)

Dalvin: (getting orange juice) i did, nigga!

Jo-Jo: haha! very funny. 

K-ci: but can yall believe that P is giving us the house when they get married. 

Jo-Jo: yeah, thats dope. 

K-ci: theyre getting married in September, but moving in October. 

Jo-Jo: its gonna be different without De around. 

Dalvin: for real! i lived with him all of my life.

----Later at the Video Soul interview.----

Sherry: Thinks for tuning into another episode of Video Soul. i am your host for the day, Sherry Carter. and right now, we are interviewing the newcomers of the industry, JoDeCi. how are yall doing this afternoon?

The boys: good!

Sherry: good! so how is the CD coming along? do we have a date for when it will be released?

Devante: it will come out January of next year.

Sherry: do yall have a title for the album?

Devante: nah, not yet.

Sherry: ok. lets get a little personal here. Dalvin, you have been spotted on multiple occasions with T-Boz. whats going on?

Dalvin: we're having a good time with each other, and we like one another a lot. thats my baby.

Sherry: nice! and K-ci, you and Mary J. are hanging around each other a lot too.

K-ci: yeah, but no comment. (everybody laughs) 

Sherry: alrighty then! Devante, how's the wedding planning coming along?

Devante: its going well. we're getting married in September. right here in Manhattan.

Sherry: yeah, Pilar was telling Donnie that me, him and Madelyne were invited. so thank yall for the invite.

Devante: no problem. i just met you, but P has known yall for years, so...

Sherry: yep! we met here in '86. her first single and CD dropped that year. so, lets get into this video. everybody, take a look at JoDeCi's debut single and video, "Gotta Love". 

--AFTER THE VIDEO ENDS.----

Sherry: that was dope. it looked really good! congrats on your first video.

The boys: thank you. 

Sherry: no problem! im gonna let yall get out of here. and we are gonna take a break, but before we do that, i wanna send a special happy birthday to Malina Pryor! 21 looks good on you baby! we'll be back right after the commercial break, so dont go no where. (winks at TV screen).

---Back at the house.---

-Pilar is in her bed, on the phone.-

Pilar: happy birthday!!

Malina: thank you! how are you?

Pilar: good! hows the baby?

Malina: she's doing good. 

Pilar: she?

Malina: yes! i didnt tell you? i thought i did.

Pilar: you probably did, i forgot maybe. but this is great! im so happy for you.

Malina: thank you! once you get married, you can have a baby.

Pilar: (making sure not to tell her about the miscarriage) yeah! next year though! i gotta make it to 22, and then De and the boys have an album coming out in January. so if i get pregnant in January or February, i should be delivering the baby by time he gets off of tour.

Malina: that sounds like a good plan. 

Pilar: Shaunte is actually four months pregnant as well!

Malina: what?!?! its about time they have a baby. (giggles)

Pilar: i know right. well, im not gonna hold you up. i actually can hear the boys coming in the house. 

Malina: alright! talk to ya later!

Pilar: bye! (giggles and hangs up the phone).

-Devante comes into the room.-

Devante: you're still in bed?

Pilar: i ate some breakfast, cleaned around the house, and went outside to plant the flowers. im tired man! 

Devante: (gets undressed and into the bed) well, the interview went well. (gets under the covers).

Pilar: good! im glad it went well. you know, its been two weeks since the incident happened, and the bleeding actually stopped the other day (traces finger down his torso).

Devante: oh really? (gets a condom out of the dresser and puts it on)

-Devante rolls on top of Pilar. he enters her. her eyes roll back as Devante groans. he strokes her so deeply and hard. Pilar is constantly scratching his back. he's giving her so much pleasure.-

Pilar: i love you! i love you! i love yoooouuuu baaaaaabbbbyyyyyyy! (moans and says loudly)

Devante: shush girl! ya momma might come over cuz you too damn loud.

-They make love for a full hour. the smell of sweat and tore up pillows on the floor is the theme right now.-

Devante: that was some National Geographic shit right there. (laughs)

Pilar: check to see if the condom broke, cuz i felt something warm go up in my vagina when you came. 

Devante: oh lord!
