-JoJo finally makes it to the hospital. As soon as he enters the waiting room, K-Ci sees him.-
K-Ci: hey man. We gotta get upstairs.
-K-ci grabs him and they run to the ICU.-
--In the ICU recovery room--
Pilar: im so glad that you're okay.
Richard: (says with a raspy voice) i am too, sweetheart.
Pilar: what happened?
Richard: i remember my chest tightening and then i passed out. ive been stressed lately.
Pilar: whats stressing you?
Richard: the acting, the comedy shows and the new baby.
Pilar: well dad, you need to take some time out for yourself.
Richard: i know. but where are the kids?
Pilar: Dalvin has them.
-Knock Knock-
Pilar: come in!
Devante: hey dad. you feelin alright?
Richard: yep. im doing pretty good for someone who just got out of surgery 30 minutes ago.
Dr.Lakes: (comes in) hey guys! im gonna need to examine Richard. do you guys mind leaving the room for a few minutes?
Pillar: sure.
-Devante and Pilar leaves the room and sits on the bench in the hallway.-
Pilar: you know, I really thought that was you on that operating table. where were you?
Devante: i was stuck on the toilet. sorry.
Pilar: jesus!! and then i couldnt find the boys. i didnt know what to do.
Devante: i know baby. but everything is gonna be alright.
Phyllis: hey guys. (says as she and Shaunte walks up to them).
Pilar: how are you feeling?
Phyllis: tired.
Shaunte: same here.
Dr. Lakes: you all can go see him now, but for 5 more minutes. visiting hours will be over shortly.
-they all go in to see him.-
Phyllis: hey babe. visiting hours are over. did you want me to stay the night?
Richard: no honey. go home and get some rest.
-In comes Dalvin, K-ci and Jojo along with the kids.-
JoJo: im glad i was able to see you for a little bit.
Dalvin: we'll be back tomorrow.
Shaunte: oh, and Malina is flying in.
Pilar: see you tomorrow dad. (kisses his forehead).
--AT PILAR'S HOUSE--
Devante: tonight was something else. wasnt it?
Pilar: sure was. im gonna go upstairs and put the kids away.
Devante: okay, im gonna stay down here and watch some TV.
--At Shaunte's house--
Andre: (gets in bed) how is he?
Shaunte: very well. I didnt expect this to happen. poor mom.
Andre: did she go home?
Shaunte: yeah. Malina is coming to town in a couple of hours, so shes home getting things together.
Andre: when is he coming home?
Shaunte: this Friday. so in about 3 days. i really didnt expect this Andre! like a heart attack? he's so healthy. he doesnt eat sweets much and he's very active.
Andre: he's probably stressed babe.
Shaunte: yeah. that could be it. but im gonna get some sleep.
Andre: good night.
--At Pilar's house--
Pilar: (comes down stairs) what are you watching? (goes to the kitchen)
Devante: Sports center.
Pilar: (grabs a bottled water) okay, well im going to bed. (walks over to Devante and kisses him).
Devante: what was that for?
Pilar: its a thank you.
Devante: a "thank you"? (smiles) for what?
Pilar: for holding things down at the hospital.
Devante: well why dont you thank me some more upstairs?
Pilar: and you can spell "your welcome" on a special part of my body that i like. (giggles)
-Pilar and Devante run upstairs and go into the bedroom-
