Pilar: (laying in bed, on the phone) girl! me and Shaunte just got back from LA.

Malina: what?!! why were yall here?

Pilar: i got a call about how some stripper kissing my man, so i hopped my big ass on the plane, and went to go check some things out.

Malina: you couldnt have confronted him on the phone about that?

Pilar: nope!!

Malina: but youre pregnant!

Pilar: so?

Malina: one thing that i could never understand about you Pilar, is that you may be an angel, but you have always been the most hard-headed angel that i have ever met.

Pilar: welp! too bad! 

Malina: ugh!! anyways, whens the baby shower?

Pilar: Its May 3rd. at 3pm! 

Malina: okay, and where?

Pilar: mom's house. she insisted on hosting it! 

Malina: yeah! she hosted mine too! 

Pilar: yeah, the only one that didnt have it her house was Shaunte. She hosted her own.

Malina: im so mad that i missed it, but i couldnt fly after entering my 3rd trimester.

Pilar: she totally understood. but, i want both my niece and nephew there at my party. and besides, this will be the first time that the two cousins will meet each other!

Malina: thats right! they havent met already!! well, im make sure that Marianna is there. 

Pilar: hows business going?

Malina: its going good! my fashion line is being worn by so many celebrities! and Suge wants to be his right-hand woman when it comes to the record label. 

Pilar: good! any plans on getting married?

Malina: (giggles) well...

Pilar: what?

Malina: well, one day, when i got home, he had set up this romantic dinner. and when it was time for dessert, he gave me a big ass ring!!! 

Pilar: congratulations!! when were you gonna say something about it?

Malina: i thought i told you about it when you told us that you were having twins. ive always been the secretive type anyways. 

Pilar: well maybe you did, but im very happy for you! whens the wedding?

Malina: we're gonna do it in September. the 3rd. 

Pilar: okay, well September 3rd, 1991 is gonna be marked off on my calendar. (smiling)

Malina: good!! (Malina hears the baby cry) im gonna go!

Pilar: bye!

-They hang up, and Pilar goes to sleep.-

Dalvin: (shuffling cards) i know! but did yall see how Pilar was ready to fight last night? 

Devante: hmm!
