Pilar pov:
-I woke up later that day, after eating my mom's delicious turkey sandwich, feeling refreshed. being in my house, in a nice, large and comfortable, bed is what I was longing for during my time at the hospital.-
Devante: (comes into the room). The boys are here.
Pilar: great! I'll meet you downstairs.
-Devante leaves the room, and Pilar gets out of the bed, and fixes herself up.-
-there's a knock on the door. Devante opens the door.-
Devante: aye!! whats goin on yall!
-the boys come in. they dap each other up.-
K-ci: where's your girl at?
Pilar: i'm right here! (she says, coming down the steps, smiling.)
Jo-Jo: you look relaxed.
Pilar: I am!
K-ci: De must've hit that last night!
-the boys started laughing.)
Pilar: no, no, no! I'm not able to have sex until the doctor approves of it.
Dalvin: yea, sure. (he says, not believing her.) anyways, where should we put our stuff?
Pilar: well, go upstairs, and pick your rooms. but don't go into the first room.
Dalvin: okay!
-the boys go upstairs.-
-someone turns the key, and comes in the door.-
Pilar: Mother!! you're here... again.
Phyllis: yes, darling! I had to come and check up on you. even though it has been just 3 hours. an whats up with the cars outside?
-before Pilar could answer, the boys came downstairs.-
K-ci: aye, Pilar, the rooms are incredible.
Dalvin: you're Phyllis Hyman! nice to meet you!
Phyllis: likewise. and who are you guys?
Jo-Jo: we're a new R & B group. JoDeCi.
Phyllis: ive heard about you guys! Andre has said plenty of great things!
Pilar: because Devante is staying with me, I felt that it would be best if the rest of the boys would stay with us.
Phyllis: well, if you feel like it's a good idea, then I think so too. Well, I'm gonna go. I will see you later.
Pilar: alright!
-Phyllis leaves.-
Jo-Jo: we gotta head to the studio, so that you gives you enough time to relax, Pilar.
Pilar: okay. that sounds great! i'm gonna hit the sheets. ill see you later, babe.
Devante: don't forget dinner tonight. (they share a kiss.)
Jo-Jo: come on before a baby pops out.
Devante: call the detective to get the paperwork started. okay?
Pilar: okay. (smiles.)
-they leave. and Pilar takes herself to bed. but once she gets comfortable, the phone rings. so she picks up the phone.-
Pilar: hello?
Phyllis: is everything ok? I can come back if you want me to.
Pilar: Mother! i'm fine. they're on their way to the studio.
Phyllis: okay. love you Maria.
Pilar: Love you too, Mrs. Gaye.
Phyllis: girl, the way that your father put it down, I wouldn't mind being Mrs. Gaye.
Pilar: ewww!
Phyllis: oops, sorry. talk to you later.
Pilar: bye! Phyllis. Ms. Hyman if your nasty.
-they laugh. and then they hang up. after that, Pilar goes back to sleep.-
