Chapter I | Magnificent Malefic

"Dad?" Layla called out. She has been searching for her father for hours, and she is beginning to grow impatient. "He's always busy doing something.." Layla grumbled in frustration. She loves her father dearly and she knows that her father loves her dearly as well. But couldn't handle the fact that he just can't have some of his time spending time with her.

The world that Layla resides in is not as lovely as you'd think it is. The world has a full force of Malefic Energy. This energy causes all livings things that come in contact with it lose their sanity and become rabidly aggressive.

After a while of searching for her dear father, Layla came across to one of the doors that her father told her that it is forbidden to open and enter, unless granted permission. But why is a forbidden door opened?

In curiosity. Layla entered the room without caution.

At the center of the room. A large gun was standing upon the ground, it slightly emitted a soft light of blue. Layla quickly dashed towards it in awe. She has never seen a gun this big before, let alone emitting a light. Layla began to observe the large gun that looked magnificent, getting captivated by its fascinating designs.

Layla soon realized that there was a folded note taped on one of the gun's handles. She carefully took the note off the handle and then unfolded it.

My loveliest daughter.
  While you are reading this. I have sadly decreased since I absorbed too much energy than I can handle.
  I have discovered a gun that can absorb Malefic Energy. This gun that is standing in front of you, is the gun that could halt the spread of the Malefic Energy.
  I know you can do it, my dear daughter.

After Layla had finished reading the note. Teardrops began to fall from her rosy cheeks. She was crying after finding out that her father had died. She couldn't even spend time with him. Go do things she always wanted to do with her father, the only family member she has left is now gone.

I have to stay strong, Layla thought. She pushed back her tears and lifted the gun using its handles. "This thing sure is heavy!" Layla managed to form a small smile on her face. "I'll halt the Malefic Energy, dad. Don't you worry.." Layla said softly as she looked at her gun. "We can do it!"

After she had smashed the ground using her gun. The ground instantly created large cracks below her. "Oh no." Layla bit her lip and froze like ice. Bright flashes of blue lights came out of the cracks. Then before Layla could realize it.

Everything exploded.
