Estes thought for a moment that his father knows about Karina, but fortunately that isn't the case. The name Katrina sounded like Karina, so that made the Elven King quite confused.

Elion took a step forward to his son, lifting one of his hand to cast an illusion spell, creating a large book that is floating in the air besides him. "I am fully aware that you have the book of past heroes. This priceless book is a copy of my past comrades' journals combined. We each owned a small journal, writing how we met and other once exciting events." Elion said, clenching his hand into a fist to undo the illusion magic spell. "I'll tell you my ancient history in exchange for this book. You will not know my history from a book or someone beside hearing it from my mouth. It'll help you in the future." Elion said, suggesting a quite unfair sounding deal. "I do not trust you. Why should I? I have never thought of you as my father." Estes spoke his words like a gun being fired instantly. It didn't affect Elion, it merely almost made him smile. He didn't think of Estes as his son ever since he was born. "You're almost becoming like me. I too also had this kind of relationship with my father. We never loved each other's even though we're identical, until someone important changed me." Elion said, anger slowly taking over his grim face. Estes felt like his story with this woman didn't end up very well.

Centuries ago, before the Land of Dawn was formed, the world was in a catastrophic Era. Villains overtook almost all of the civilization of the world, only few brave and pure hearted beings existed. One of the strongest beings left standing next to the light are the Moonlight Elves. Guided by the Moon deities for millenniums, they have survived countless battles over the long, past years of hardship and war.

During this dark era, Elion is around Estes' age. He wasn't the King that drowned in the eternal darkness of evil yet. More rather, he was just like Estes.

He was a support in his team with an excellent skills in archery. It'd be an unfair fight if someone dare to fight Elion head on, he would heal himself if he gets damaged while firing his arrows at his enemy without mercy.

He doesn't want to take the kill though, he would instead let the first woman who stole his very soul steal the kill. Katrina is a very fine assassin, nobody would want to mess with a bold and swift woman like her except for Elion. Even though Katrina is a Night Elf, she sided with light while being in the darkness, just like her best friend Natalya. The two worked together like inseparable sisters, their combo would one hit anyone that gets in their way.

Yun Zhao's father Ju-long was training at the time, training his cooking skills that is, not his strength and power. Ju-long wasn't a fighter, he was rather weak and terrified by everything he sees horrifying. When he arrived in this world with the task to help every fallen leader, everyone thought of him as a glorious mythic who will save the world and end the war that the Abyss created. Unfortunately, everyone got fooled by his title.

Ju-long's father was greatly disappointed in him, but that didn't stop the young warrior from continuing his love for cooking. Luckily for Ju-long, he got someone to taste test his made up dishes. A markswoman whose name is Mia. She dearly loves food and she would often finish up every dishes that Ju-long makes her. You can say she married him for being a great cook and of course for being a loyal guy.

These were the great and joyful times for the heroes that will soon save the world and end the dark era. But there is one thing that they couldn't end, time.

The being that started the dark era chanted a forbidden spell to the world. To repeat history. So if they get defeated, they will come back for revenge and expand the Abyss until there is nothing left but despair, wrath, and darkness. But that is only a legend that are told to children as a scary bed time story.
