Alucard's heart was exploding inside his chest like fireworks. His breathing beginning to become uneven, hands shaking and his body quietly trembling. He was absolutely in pure fear. Being inside this Headquarters is no longer safe for him. He wanted to run, run away like he did before. Get out of here as fast as he can.
  Run like a coward, Alucard, since that is what you truly are! A demonic voice inside his mind spoke, taunting and mocking him. They crackled a laugh, wanting the poor Huntsman to suffer more. Sadistic! I won't give you want you want! Alucard spoke back to the demon through his mind. A strike of throbbing pain immediately began to form in his demon arm, making the situation worse for him. He held the pain that felt like fire touching his skin.

Roger felt a familiar aura somewhere, but couldn't quite identify where exactly since it shattered in the air once it entered the room. He sniffed quietly, his eyes beginning to look like an animal's, a wolf's eyes to be exact. "I smell something, strange. Do you know what it is, Harold?" He grumbled, asking the veteran Huntsman-Harold before him. "It feels like demonic aura. Go check outside to see if the hallway is clear." Harold answered before his eyes darted into the papers that were scattered on his large, wooden desk. The desk was quite messy. Books were lazily stacked on top of each other's, ink spilling onto the surface and a bunch of pens that were just laying on the desk looking absolutely useless. Roger just nodded at him as his reply and walked towards to the door. Alucard instantly sensed him, his heart stopping for a slight moment before he dashed into the nearest exit in silence.
Roger can sense his aura, which is good for him since he'll be able to track the little demon Huntsman down like a dog, but horrible for Alucard since he now knows that he cannot run away from that wolf monster. Since running away is useless, what else is he supposed to do? He has no allies whatsoever and he didn't want to leave Ruby. So a brilliant and stupid idea came across his panicking mind.

He walked towards to where Ruby is. She was still with the group of hunters from before, smiling brightly like the sun and talking to them free like a bird. She looked like her anxiety has faded away. Alucard let out a sigh of relief out of his lips and walked over to her. He gently and unexpectedly grabbed her hand, making her jump from the sudden appearance. "Woah! I did not see you there!" Ruby said, her eyes slightly wide. She didn't like being surprised, but since it's just Alucard. She forgives him for shocking her, and he didn't mean it on purpose. "Sorry, but I went outside a bit and saw that the forest looked magical. I thought you would like to see it." He said with a faint smile on his handsome face that it made Ruby's heart rush and accelerate until it wanted to get out of her body.

She didn't understand this feeling yet. The thoughts and feelings of Alucard being an older brother to her is gradually fading out of her mind. He felt something else to her. More important in fact. Like she didn't ever want to leave by his side. Ruby didn't realize that she grew quiet from thinking and was staring at Alucard who was waiting patiently for her answer.

When the demon hunter lifted his hand to cup one of her cheeks. She instantly snapped back into reality, her cheeks letting itself go red. "Su-Sure! I would love to see the forest!" Ruby finally answered him, stuttering one of her words. An awkward smile replacing her bright one. The wolf hunters who was watching them let out small laughs from their body and walked away to give the two more privacy. They looked like a couple now, a lovely and cute one on that. "Then, let's go." Alucard let his hand that was cupping her cheeks fall. He held her hand, lacing their fingers together. They both walked outside of the territory of the Headquarters. Ruby followed Alucard who was leading the way for her. His warn hand felt firm, yet gentle.
