Chapter 78 | Ancient Monster

Lolita grabbed Bane by the collar of his shirt and pulled him up with only one hand. For a being with a small figure. She was terrifyingly strong.
The ghost pirate managed to look her in the eyes. Those eyes full of murderous intent and wrath. She wasn't going to let him live after this. Was this even the same girl that held that dead protector? She looked so weak and fragile, but now. She looked like she was going to kill someone without any hesitation.

Just thinking about it made Bane feel like the air is trying to suffocate him. He was slowly going to get beaten up to death by this little girl. "This is for destroying the wall!" She lifted her free hand and punched him hard in the face. Receiving a groan of pain from him. Not enough, I'm gonna beat the hell outta this guy! Lolita thought angrily. She won't feel satisfied until she could hear every bone of his crack and a thousand scream of great agony. "This is for hurting my people!" She punched him again. Harder than the last punch that she gave him. Receiving a scream this time from the ghost pirate. "And this is for killing my fucking boyfriend!" Lolita sounded so mournful and angry in saying her last word in that sentence. She wasn't going to waste another set of tears for this guy. No, she was going to waste all of her bitter hatred on him until he dies from it.

She used her knee to kick his stomach with hard force and then threw him across the ground that is now full of debris that the explosion created. Bane let out noises of pain out of his mouth as he held his stomach with both of his arms. Damn, this steel elf was no joke. She can fight like a man. Saber didn't even inform him that she was this strong.
Lolita walked over to him. Eyes like daggers that was about to be covered of the pirate's blood. She clenched both of her iron covered hands into a fist. About to kick him on the face when he suddenly and loudly said. "She can revive him back!" The steel elf's eyes widened. Stunned for a moment before quickly regaining back her objective. "Telling me lies? I'll beat you slower this time!" She grabbed Bane by the collar of his shirt again. Pure anger in her voice.

Bane silently gulped in slight fear. He has to do anything he can right now in order to convince this steel elf to not kill him or else his death will be a laughing stock for decades to come. He'll lose his face-or reputation for eternity and he did not want that to happen. He would rather starve in a forest. "Vexana has the resurrection spell! I'm sure if you make a deal with her she'll be able to bring your lover back to life! I can bring you to her. You won't be able to pass the barrier without me-an ally of her Majesty." He spoke in a rushed and anxious tone that it made some of his words blurred out. Lolita can still understand this poor soul clearly. Giving him her interest. But what if he's lying or leading her to a trap? Lolita has to think twice before accepting this guy's suggestion. "Prove to me that this new Queen of Doom has the resurrection spell." She spoke bitterly. Her eyes icily watching him like a predator looking down at its prey. "That woman that destroyed those three bombs. Saber's wif-"
"Partner. Not wife." Lolita immediately corrected him.
"She looks like it..." He grumbled to himself before continuing. "Right, Saber's partner. She died when she first came to this city," A blurry flashback suddenly hit Lolita in the head. If she remembered clearly. She asked Saber why he was going to make arms for Fanny when she's already dead. Only to see her suddenly appear healthy with new mechanical arms. Saber told them that she was in fact not dead but near her death. Or did he lie to her and Bruno? "Saber told us that she wasn't dead," Lolita argued.
"You believe the words of a man that betrayed you? Vexana gave him the resurrection spell in order to revive that woman back to life. Now she's brewing troubles instead of being cooperative." Bane grumbled. Wanting to teach Fanny a lesson for destroying three of his bombs.

Lolita let go of his collar. Making him fall on his back. He groaned slightly in pain before quickly standing up to his feet. "Bring me to Vexana immediately." She ordered. Her eyes telling him if he dares lie or pull out any tricks she won't hesitate to grab his neck and strangle him to his doom.
Bane nodded as his reply. Pulling out a portal ball out of his coat's pocket and threw it to the ground. It shattered and immediately formed a black portal to the Abyss. He went in first without hesitation. Lolita quickly followed behind him. Thinking that this portal might be his escape.
