Chapter VI | Doom and Gloom

It is nightfall. Moskov continued to do his harsh training by himself. Not letting his exhaustion get to him.

Ever since his clan, the Wildsand was slaughtered. He suffered from the terrible and painful experience. The memories and the thoughts of revenge haunted him each and every day, thus becoming the savage and cold-blooded person he is today.

He decided to fall into the Abyss of Shadow and serve the Queen of Doom. His first part of his plan starting off with making a few strong allies, luckily stronger than the Wildsand like the Queen of Doom.

Moskov began to pant from being too exhausted and decided that it is time to rest. He wanted to continue training, but he can't let himself die from over training himself, that would be an utter disgrace. He stretched his arms and legs before walking towards back to the castle where he and the Queen of Doom reside in. The Dark Lord would visit the Queen time to time, to send her gifts and compliments, he was obviously trying to seduce her, but the Queen wasn't having any of it, she just wanted to construct her plan and watch the world slowly being eaten by the darkness. Moskov is forever grateful to the Queen of Doom, he pledged to be her best companion.

After an hour of walking towards to the castle, he eventually arrived.

He looked at Its sight, before deciding to enter. Its eerie and terrifying appearance made most of the weak monsters away. Even if a weak monster managed to stand on the castle's grounds, the castle's powerful barrier will automatically destroy their existence.

The castle's black-colored metal door opened before him. A sudden rush of cold wind brushing his pale skin as a greeting. Moskov did not shiver but got annoyed at the fact that it surprised him a bit, he couldn't help it, he is exhausted from his training. Exhaustion made Moskov quite vulnerable, but if someone gets his rage off the limits, he'll kill them in a second.

Moskov walked towards to the throne room where the Queen of Doom mostly spends her time admiring her devastating and wicked plan. He opened the door rather gently for he did not want to disturb his M'lady.

Small streaks of light came through the windows, glittering the dark blue, translucent curtains that hung on the window's frame. The floors made out of black marble shined slightly and the black onyx pillars are covered with bright red roses; thorns wrapping around the pillars. The throne is made out of black ice that is covered with black pearls as an ethereal light shines the throne from behind.

The throne room is beautiful as always, but it could have been more beautiful if the Queen of Doom was inside. Instead of seeing the Queen of Doom, Moskov saw a beautiful and youthful woman cloaked in darkness, her aura revealing horror and despair. The wrists of her hands covered in broken chains. The souls of the dead surrounded her as they sang a ghoulish melody. He did not know who she is, but she managed to withstand the powerful barrier that surrounded the castle, meaningly that she is powerful enough to be accepted inside the castle. Moskov couldn't think that she is an enemy as he is being captured by this mysterious woman's captivating dark beauty.

"You must be Moskov." The woman formed a grin on her face. Moskov immediately snapped into reality, his face turning red a bit. "It's quite unfair for you to know my identity. Can you kindly reveal yours or else I will have no choice but to kick you out by force?" He said fiercely without regrets. Even though she is a woman, he has no mercy for anyone, besides the Queen of Doom. The woman let out a soft chuckle as she moved towards to Moskov in a ghostly appearance. "My name is Vexana. The Queen of Doom is currently away for one of her important tasks, so I'll be staying here to watch over you." One of her fingers tipped Moskov's nose, which made him growl. "I don't need a person to watch over me, I can take care of M'lady's minor tasks myself." He said rather proudly. Vexana let out a laugh. "I'm currently going to be in charge of this Castle whenever you like it or not, pretty boy."
