Argus let out a laugh louder than it should be, making the War Goddess think that she wasn't serious about fighting against him. This made her cheeks turn red out of embarrassment. "Hey! I must've injured your head so terribly that it caused you to not remember that I've made you taste bitter defeat!" She said angrily, her face turning into an ugly shade as the fallen War Angel continued his laughter.

Eventually, he stopped laughing and glanced at Freya in a mocking matter. "Yes, you have defeated me in the past. That defeat caused me to grow stronger and learn from my mistakes, do not think that I have the same capabilities as before, Goddess." He lifted one of his hands, green flames suddenly bursting out of his palm and then turning into a demonic sword that is almost as large as his body.

He playfully swung it close to Freya, almost scratching an itch of her skin. His action causing the Goddess to instinctively leap backward to distance herself from him.

She as well made her sword appear and a well-crafted shield.

Argus quickly took notice that it wasn't the Aegis that she was so fond of, but instead, she decided to use an ordinary looking shield.

He glanced into Freya's eyes who also looked back at him, a slight sign of animosity. "Where's your Aegis? You used it in our previous battle." He questioned rather curiously. "I don't feel like using it on you." Freya bitterly replied without a second thought, quickly charging towards him like lightning.

The fallen War Angel was caught off guard by surprise. Luckily, he quickly regained consciousness and dodged in time. "You are now faster than before, impressive." He smirked under his helmet. The War Goddess' blade an inch away from hitting one of his arms. If he were to be a second late earlier, he could have quickly got an arm injury by this duel's first attack.

"Please stop fighting! I don't want anyone getting hurt!" Rafaela suddenly spoke out of the blue, causing the two Angels to slightly lower their stances and turn their heads to look at her. "Violence is always not the solution in solving conflict!" She added.

Argus just scoffed at her statement, glancing bitterly at the angel. "Since you're so sensitive, why not just scram?" He sneered, causing a hole to appear in Rafaela's heart. "If you don't want anyone getting hurt, then you should have the capabilities to protect them, right? But you can't." Immediately after saying that, Argus leaped towards Freya while she was slightly off guard.
