Bruno sighed out of exhaustion, stretching his right arm as it made soft noises of cracks. "You know I'm not a mechanic, right?" He looked at the small elf that is beside him, still continuing to stretch his arm. The small elf-whose name is Lolita looked up to Bruno with a grumpy face. "Of course I know! But I want you to fix it. I don't want to wait for an entire month just to get my hammer to be fixed! Pretty please?" Lolita pouted, her adorable face and glimmering eyes near impossible to look away from. With this tactic, Bruno could not say no to her with a face like that, so he raised both of his arms in defeat. "Fine, I'll fix it. But in one condition," Bruno's face formed a slight grin, which made Lolita uncomfortable. "Don't tell me!" She screeched, covering her ears. Bruno let out a chuckle at her behavior, placing a hand on Lolita's right shoulder. "I missed playing soccer with you! Don't you remember those good times? That I won every game?" Bruno said proudly, but Lolita just puffed at him as a cold reply, crossing her arms. "You mean those countless times my face getting beaten up by your soccer ball?" She glanced at him and then looked away. Lolita didn't like to be irritated or angered, even though she needs her rage to power up her hammer.
Bruno frowned, kneeling down on his knees as he gently squeezed one of her rosy-pinkish cheeks. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset you. I'll do it for free then!"
"Really?" Lolita suddenly turned her head to face Bruno. Their face were almost close-almost touching in fact, Lolita could feel Bruno's warm breath against her lips, it made her cheeks blush. Lolita quickly pushed him away, trying to act mad so that he would think that she isn't blushing. "Too close! Way too close." Lolita said, making her voice sound like she's angry. "You weren't..blushing during that moment?" Bruno crossed his arms, a confused expression on his face. The small elf's eyes widened, quickly shaking her head. "Of course not! Are you drunk? Why would I blush? That's just insane!" Lolita fumed, turning her body towards the opposite direction. "When you're like this, I know you're lying, Lolita." Bruno smirked, gently holding her shoulders to make her turn around to face him. "It's okay to blush. I already know that you have a crush on me." He nudged her shoulder, letting out a soft giggle out of his lips. "Me? A crush on you? That's impo-" Before Lolita could finish her sentence, Bruno picked her up off the ground. "Woah! You've grown heavier! Did you gain weight again?" Bruno grinned at Lolita's reddish face. "I'm not fat! It's my muscles! I can carry you as well you know." Lolita looked up to him with a challenging look on her face. "We'll see about that!" Bruno smiled, placing her down. The door of the room suddenly got busted opened. A man with a robotic body carrying a woman with no arms arrived in front of them. "Why are you two in my place?" Saber, the man with a robotic body asked coldly. "I'm trying to fix Lolita's hammer." Bruno answered, getting out of the way of Saber's path.
Bruno and Saber often get into fights with each other's. Making random, useless arguments and objections. They didn't have a good first impression on one another, thus their hatred one another began, but luckily Lolita is there to stop their nonsense fights.
Saber placed the woman down on to a metal table. Lolita frowned at the sight of the woman. "What happened to her?" She asked Saber, her voice showing worries. Saber grabbed a two pair of robot arms and other materials that he needs. "Got attacked. The demon hunters send her to us, to make arms for her. But unfortunately, she died on the way here." Saber answered as he quickly did a process of putting a robotic arm on a human. "Then why are you making arms for her, if she's dead?" Lolita said confusedly, but Saber did not answer, instead he dodged her question. "I need all of you to get out, I currently need focus right now, and besides. I hate your face Bruno." He ordered, his voice still ice cold.
Lolita nodded, grabbing Bruno's arm and then pulling him away out of the room. She closed the door behind them and then let Bruno pour all his anger out. "What the hell is wrong with that guy?! He's even worst than a monster! If the scholars didn't allow him to be a part of us, I would have killed him by now." Bruno said, his voice showing immense frustration and anger. He clenched his fist tightly into a fist. Lolita hugged him from behind, patting his back. "Calm down. Fighting won't solve everything, remember? He's part of the team now! If you ignore him, he'll ignore you as well! And then no more stupid fights will happen!" She smiled, trying to calm him down. Bruno turned around, wrapping his arms around her to return the hug. "Thanks, Lolita. You're always there for me, I love ya." He winked at her, a smile on his handsome face. Lolita's cheeks reddened a bit as she slowly looked away from him. "It's no problem! And I...I love you too." She let her lips form a sweet smile.
After a few weeks later. Fanny's arms are finally complete, to her it felt almost like her real arms. Saber sighed in relief as she moved it, functioning properly as he hoped. After many attempts and failures, he finally got her arm to work perfectly. "What is this?" Fanny asked, looking at Saber. "It's your arm, obviously. Are you feeling well?" He answered, looking at her arms as she moved it. "I wasn't asking about my arm. I have lost something that is inside of me. You...You did something to me." Fanny's eyes slightly widened as she touched her neck to check her pulse, only to be shocked. "I-I have no pulse.." Fanny's jaw dropped, the thought of her heart gone shocked her. "Calm down. You're a machine now, just like me."
"No! There's another thing!" Fanny said, her voice revealing panic. This time Saber just looked away from her, walking towards the large windowed wall to dodge her next question. He stared at the marvelous scenery of the city. It is night fall and the lights of the building glowed beautifully, the sound of mixed noises were like music, but is quickly interrupted by a soft chuckle. "You've done so well." A woman voice, but not Fanny spoke. Saber turned around to look at Fanny right in the eyes, a shade of red took over her beautiful amethyst ones, he instantly identified who it is. "I've done what you said, Vexana. I took her heart."
