I failed my mission and experienced a terrible consequence in doing so. My companions died because of my failure.
I was saved by a courageous and strong man, he helped me get out of danger, I am forever grateful for his kindness that he saved me, but I wished that he had saved the other's lives instead of saving mine. The white hooded woman sat down upon a large, cold rock. She looked up to the sky, her tired light blue eyes watched the snowflakes fall down gently towards to the snowy ground. Even when she's showing her skin, Natalia did not shiver in the cold, she's used to it in fact.
Natalia slowly lowered her head to look at her three-long blades, a claw that is made out of gold; shining beautifully on her right wrist. The action that she made three years ago, the day that she failed her first mission broke her pride and self.
Natalia couldn't come back to her home, the Church of Light until she returns every possession that she had.The hooded woman let out a sigh, using her left hand to massage the right side of her back. As she closed her eyes, she slowly let herself relax, until a sound made her alert. Natalia stopped massaging her back and ran quickly to the nearest bush.
A tall man wearing a shining armor made out of gold appeared out of the trees. His small, brown bangs fell down on his face as he frowned, looking disappointed. Natalia went closer to him in excellent stealth, as if she were invisible to him. You should not have disturbed me, unfortunate knight. Natalia said within her mind.
Before she could throw a smoke bomb and give him the cold-blooded strangling, an original attack that she made to kill her targets. The man used his large golden sword to swing towards her direction, creating a powerful force to push her back, thus revealing her identity. Natalia cursed under her breath. Before she could escape using her claw dash, she was pulled in by the knight's forceful pull that will pull anything that is nearby him.
Natalia felt dizzy after she was pulled, collapsing against something hard, she groaned softly in pain. "My apologies! I didn't mean to harm you! I was just trying to meet you again!" The knight said with a tone of regret. Natalia looked up to him with an angry and confused expression as she observed his appearance.
His chestnut colored wavy hair looked handsome to look at. The color of the sea is the same color as his eyes. Fair skinned and looked very muscular with his golden armor on. A large amethyst on the center of his armor with beautifully designed golden curves and a black fur that surrounded his shoulders. He held a sword made out of strong metal, gold and amethyst, while his other hand held a large shield that is almost bigger than him. The shield has scratches and damages on it, but it is still beautiful with its shiny metal parts, golden curves and the diamond shaped amethyst that is placed on the top center of the shield. "Forgive me for my rudeness, but I truly wanted to meet you again. I desire to know you more ever since I saw you when we were younger. The way you fight swiftly like the wind, your stealth techniques are outstandingly remarkable. The way you can disappear as if you can turn into air." The knight smiled brightly at Natalia, while she in the other hand is annoyed by this strange man that is admiring her.
Natalia couldn't figure it out, but he looked familiar to her. "Have we met?" She asked her voice ice cold. The knight let out a soft chuckle. Striking the ground with his sword so that his sword will stay in place without him holding its handle. "My name is Tigreal, I am titled as the Warrior of Light. I saved you when you were in danger three years ago." He answered, his bright smile staying on his face.
Natalia's eyes widened, her jaw dropping slightly. She is obviously surprised by the fact that this man is her savior. "You...You're the one th-that defeated them?" She stuttered a bit as she looked up to Tigreal.
Tigreal nodded as his answer. "Fair maiden, I have traveled across lands just to find you. After I heard that you exiled yourself from the outskirts of the land far from the Church of Light and the Empire, I was left with confusion and sorrow. Maybe you were in sorrow as well? After your comrades met their terrible fate?" He said with a gentle voice. Natalia turned around to look away from Tigreal. "It is none of your concern.." Her voice hinted anger and that made a Tigreal frown. "My apologies, I should not have said my last sentences." He kneeled down with one knee. "I want to comfort you, be an ally and support you. I want you to join me." He said out of desperation.Natalia turned around to look at him. Clenching her hands into a fist, she looked at him with cold eyes. "I do not need anyone's help." She said. Those words made Tigreal frown as he slowly stood up. "What if you are in need of help like last ti-"
"I said I do not need anyone's help!" Natalia suddenly yelled. Tigreal's eyes widened from her sudden outburst, he did not understand why he got her mad, but he did something wrong. Before Tigreal could grab Natalia's hand.
Natalia immediately pulled out a smoke bomb out of her small bag and threw it to the snowy ground, instantly creating a red smoke.Tigreal coughed as he maneuvered through the red smoke towards Natalia's direction, but he is already too late. Natalia is already gone from his sight once again.
Natalia disappeared among the snowy trees, walking far away from the knight that saved her. I do not need anyone, she thought.
But deep instead her heart, she wanted to be with someone that cares for her.
