Yun Zhao returned to the Imperial Palace. All the guards and servants humbly bowed down to their knees under his presence as they all said in unison: "Welcome back, Crown Prince" Yun Zhao faintly smiled and raised one of his hands, gesturing them to stand up and continue their work. Even though Miya had just left, he was already missing her deep within his heart. "Big brother Yun Zhao!" A voice of a child called his name, causing the Crown Prince to stop his tracks and turn his body towards to the direction where the voice came from.

He saw a little girl with dark, brown hair with a large, white bow on top of her head. She wore a mainly green colored with blue silk hanfu and matching black boots. Her cheeks were puffed up, showing an angry, yet adorable expression once she got to a close distance to Yun Zhao. "How come you didn't greet me? You and father quickly went to a tournament without me! Big brother, do you not care about me anymore?" She pouted, a sad look in her red, doll eyes.

The Crown Prince lifted one of his hands and placed it on his little sister's head, patting her soft hair with gentle care. "Don't think of such nonsense. Big brother will always care for his little sister, Chang'e. Now, how are your studies? Are you improving your powers and abilities well?" He asked, receiving a bright and warming smile from the future cinnamon roll. "My studies are perfect! I have even mastered the Great Dragon's secret technique, the Sacred Satellite! Winning father's eternal praise! I'm not a troublemaker anymore!" Chang'e boasted with great delight, hoping that her brother will be amazed about her great achievement.

Yun Zhao gently carried his little sister into his arms, lifting her up into the air. "Wow! My little sister is an incredible genius! I'm so proud of you." He let out a soft laugh, getting the little one to laugh as they spun around the hallway. "I miss big brother very much! Why isn't father with you? Is he already in his study room?" Chang'e suddenly piled questions for her big brother to answer. He couldn't help but to silently look nervous, trying his best to maintain his joyful condition.

Chang'e will eventually find out later since the servants are preparing their father's funeral. Yun Zhao has to help them prepare as well and his little sister will most likely volunteer to help him. He didn't want his adorable bunny to look immensely full of grief, but he didn't want to lie and break her trust either.

"Father...He's high up in the Heavens with mother. He may be far away, but he'll continue to watch over us." Yun Zhao did his hardest to sugar coat his words. Chang'e's jaw dropped a little, her eyes widening from the unexpected news of the Great Dragon's death. "Fa-Father is gone forever...?" She stammered, her cheerful state turning into despondency.

"No! He'll always be with us. Father wouldn't be happy if you continue to cry, you'll be making him think that he's not with us anymore..." He attempted to lighten her mood. Chang'e slowly used her long sleeves to wipe her tears away, nodding her head afterward. "I-I'll be strong for father! Father's death is not in vain, right big brother?" She asked, unable to hide her frown. "Yes, he died for a good cause." Yun Zhao smiled faintly, gently patting his little sister on the head. His brotherly action caused Chang'e to lift her frown into a smile.

"Big brother! Have you visited mother's grave yet?" She asked, her eyes that were full of sorrow earlier turning back to its normal condition. "Of course, did you wanted to go with me?" He replied. Chang'e nodded as her answered, gently grabbing one of Yun Zhao's hands. "I wanted to cook food so that I can give it to mother! But I can't cook..." She grumbled, adorably puffing out her cheeks.

Ju-long didn't have the time to spend with his young daughter, so he was unable to teach her how to cook like Yun Zhao. The two siblings are well aware that both of their parents love food, so they would cook foods and place them on their graves as gifts. Not only food, but flowers and other rare items as well. "Ah, then I'll teach you." Yun Zhao smiled faintly, making his little sister squeal excitedly.
