I'm changing the romans into numbers, because the romans will make the title longer. I also realized that Miya does not have brown eyes, but purple, I'm sorry about that error.
Hope you guys will enjoy this chapter!{|•|}
Miya sighed tiredly, looking at the crown that Estes left. She gently grabbed it, then began to hold it tightly out of anger for the once elven king that she loved and cared for. Estes's truth formed a hole on Miya's heart. The young archer might never forgive him for what he did to her family that she barely have any knowledge of. Even if Estes kneeled down on his knees for Miya's forgiveness, she won't have the kindness to forgive him anymore, but what if that night elf that was visiting Estes placed a spell on him? Making him say those words in order to break his relationship with Miya? This thought made Miya slightly upset with herself, what if that night elf did really cast a spell on Estes? To get her away from him, to not able to see that night elf execute her king? All these negative thoughts and concerns about his king exploded inside Miya's head, her anger being overflown by guilt. She slowly began to breathe in and breathe out until she calmed herself down. "Estes can take care of himself, he's a king after all..." Miya said to no one in particular, letting go of the crown that she was holding. All I need is a long, rest of sleep, I'll think about this clearly in the morning, she said inside her mind, going outside the once bedroom of Estes, walking towards to her bedroom that is nearby.
Once the sun arrived to light away the darkness. Few birds flew down towards Miya's large balcony, landing on the balcony's handrail that is made out of thick, brown wood. The birds chirped, singing a song for Miya for her to wake up, the birds acted like an alarm for her, to let her know that it is now time to prepare her king for his duties, but Estes is no longer with her. Miya exhaustedly sat up, her hair messed and tangled up. She blinked her tired, purple colored eyes.
Miya couldn't rest nor relax last night, she was worried about her King, even if he did betray her. If Estes dies, who will rule the kingdom? Estes doesn't have any siblings, and Estes's father might be the one to rule the Elven Kingdom once again. The dark and cruel history will repeat itself, and Estes won't be crowned as King to end it like in the past. If only Estes has a descendant, his child will rule the kingdom. Thus, Estes's father won't be able to sit on the throne once again. The young archer groaned in frustration, forcing her body to get out of bed and walk towards to her closet to pull out some clothes.
Yun Zhao just woke up from his lovely sleep, his body feeling energized by the great rest his sleep has given to him. He walked towards to Miya's wooden door, knocking on it. "Miya, are you awake?" He asked, hoping that she is. Miya grabbed some clothes out of her closet, then walked over to the door to answer Zhao. "I'm awake. Forgive his majesty, but he left for an unexpected trip with someone." Miya answer, her voice bitter and tired. "Oh, that's all right. I hope his majesty will be all right once he comes back. Did you have a bad sleep last night, or did you not sleep at all?" Zhao asked, concerned about her health. "I couldn't sleep with all the thoughts I'm having. Estes told me, in a very sincere way, that he killed my parents! I don't understand him. Now that foolish Elven King wants me in the meantime to fix this kingdom with you. Which isn't so bad! Since you're here to help me." Miya answered his question again, she spoke her words quick near the end of her last sentence. "I'm sure we'll fix it. We'll be a great team if we're together." Zhao smiled charmingly, gently grabbing one of Miya's hands. Miya looked at his hand that is grabbing her hand, then looked at him, gazing into his golden brown eyes. "You think so?" Miya smiled back, her face slightly showing a tone of red. "It's not I think, It's I know that we'll be a great team if we're together." Zhao said softly, her voice smoothing and sweet to her ears, like a beautiful song that she will love to hear forever.
Far away from the Emerald Woodland. The Elven King, Estes, sat down on the grassy field, looking at the wide night sky from above. The stars shimmered and shined away the darkness, the galaxy that they're in almost revealing itself. Karina sat down besides him, looking at the sky with him. "Why did you kill them?" Karina suddenly asked Estes, breaking the peace and silence. She stopped looking at the night sky, lowering her head to look at him. Estes lowered his head to look back. "My father forced me. I had to do whatever he orders me to do, even if it is about killing another creature or your own family member. My father is dirty, never pure since birth. The Moon God and Goddess despised him, they could not take away the Code of Moonlight away from him, to take away his power. It has to be a descendant to take the Code of Moonlight away from my father, and that descendant is me. He tried to teach me his dirty way, to rule the kingdom with a twisted, dark, and cruel mind, he wanted me to become a ruler like him. But I did not want to walk on the same path as my father, I wanted to create my own path. Do you sincerely want to know what crime they did, the crime that made my father furious?" Estes answered her question, his turn to ask her. His expression becoming serious.
Karina nodded as her answer, prepared to know the truth. Estes took a deep breath before telling her the truth that she deeply desires to know. "Miya's parents. Her mother a great archer, blessed by the Moon Goddess, but her father...A deadly, infamous night elf."
