The ocean's waves splashed against the golden sands of the shores. The forgotten guardian, Mira. Sat down upon the sands as she dipped her legs into the cold water. She still has her magic of controlling the waters. As a powerful and extraordinary mage, she was one of the four guardians of the Land of Dawn, until she was consumed by dark magic. She tried to fight the dark magic, but it was too powerful for her.
The dark magic that she absorbed was from the Sirens. Evil creatures that live nearby dangerous coasts. Sirens are once Mermaids. The often reason why a Mermaid becomes a Siren is that they had been exiled.
Sirens would use their dark magic to make sailors hallucinate to allure them into going to their territory.
But Mira is a mermaid or was a mermaid. Mermaids are the opposite of the Sirens. They are kind, peaceful and guards the oceans against harm. Mira was not exiled but turned into a Siren.
Mira sighed sadly as she looked at her reflection in the water. Even though she is now a Siren, she still has her kind heart. "If there is darkness, there is light."
Each time she spoke this sentence. She feels less sad and down. "I am Mira. The Light Siren."
