Sooooo...
I researched about Chinese topics because I sincerely do not want to get things wrong and offend someone. I found out that Yun Zhao's courtesy name is Zilong (His current name in game) A courtesy name is a name bestowed upon one at adulthood in addition to one's given name. And Yun Zhao is an adult in my fanfic. (I'm not telling his age >:3)
I'm not sure if this is a large error that needs to be fixed. Should I call him Yun Zhao or Zilong from now on?

Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy today's chapter!

"What happened next?" Miya anxiously asked Hui Lan after she suddenly stopped at the part when Yun Zhao fell into the lake. Even though the moonlight archer knows that he lives after that accident, how did he survive? This part made Miya both anxious and intrigued that it would make her go to the edge of her seat if she has one. "Late Empress Mia, saved the young Crown Prince before he could've fallen into the hands of death." Hui Lan continued, a slight hint of sadness in her voice.

After the young aged Yun Zhao fell into the lake. He instantly struggled to escape the icy waters. Sadly, he didn't know how to swim back then. So he didn't know that struggling made it worse for him. "Mother!" He managed to shout for his beloved mother as he gulped water in the process. Mia immediately sat up to her knees, her eyes tired but alarmed. After hearing her son's disparate voice made her woke up at an instant.

She quickly ran towards to the lake after seeing her son struggling against the cold waters. Mia dived towards the lake without any hesitation and quickly caught her now unconscious son before he could sink into the deep depth of the lake. Luckily, she knows how to swim because a particular Guardian taught her long ago. Even though Mia thought it was useless since she never encountered a situation that needed swimming, it fortunately did came out handy for her at this moment. Mia tightly held Yun Zhao as she swam towards to the shores as quickly as she could. The freezing waters made them both shiver and caused them to have cold shock response. There is without a doubt that one of them will get sick after this.

When they got close to the shores. Mia carefully placed Yun Zhao on the ground. She panted heavily, her body sore from carrying her son while swimming. Let alone her hanfu that she is currently wearing tried to drag her down. It was a hard task, but Mia couldn't let her son die in front of her eyes. She lifted both of her trembling hands, touching Yun Zhao's cheeks. He looked so cold and rather pale that it made Mia's heart crack. Her poor son in a horrible state like this. It all felt like it is her fault for not keeping a keen eye on him.

When Yun Zhao wasn't responding. Mia opened his airway by titling the head back slightly to lift his chin. She carefully listened for breathing, but there were no sign of one. Mia's eyes widened out of shock. She quickly placed both of her hands on the middle of Yun Zhao's chest. She pushed her hands hard and fast to her son's chest then delivered rescue breaths. Mia repeated this until she saw a sign of life in her son's body. She sighed in great relief and tiredly collapsed into the ground.

When the night became late and darker. Ju-long arrived back to his palace after another task done. He quickly got informed by one of the servants that his wife and son did not come home yet and were searched everywhere in every inch of the palace and all over the city. When Ju-long heard the bad news, his heart immediately got anxious and furious at the same time. If someone tried to kill or hurt his family, he will give them a punishment of a lifetime. He couldn't think anything else about Mia and Yun Zhao.

After a while of searching desperately. A group of guards found Mia and Yun Zhao's sleeping bodies nearby the lake's glimmering shores. They quickly ran over to them and carefully carried them back to the palace.
