"T-The Queen Vex..ana?" Diggie stammered some of his words, beginning to shake violently in fear. Standing right before he is the new Queen of Doom. One of the dark, powerful beings responsible for destroying the capital of the Wasteland and the Emerald Woodlands of the Elven Kingdom. She looks like she wouldn't dare to hurt an insect. Maybe she's creating an illusion! She'll take me to her castle and then cook me! Diggie darkly thought, shaking even more than before. He is aware that his Great Grandfather Owl sent him back in time. But when? Months, weeks, days before Vexana learned the evil ways of the Abyss? Probably longer than that. "Yes, I am. Are you all right, little owlet? You seem to be in distress." Vexana asked, obviously concerned.

Her words sounded so sincere that Diggie couldn't tell if she's saying the truth or not. "I-I am all right! Tha-Thank you for your concern.." Diggie stammered some of his words, burying half of his face into his long, blue and yellow striped scarf. "You must be cold. I'll take you inside, it is a windy day after all." Vexana cooed.

She picked up Diggie to carry him into her arms, then walked towards to a large, opened entrance. Vexana placed Diggie down once they arrived inside of the massive, elegant castle. She closed the doors behind her, suddenly getting startled by a sudden male voice. "Your majesty? Are you here? I need to come talk to you." The man who owns the voice asked, footsteps getting nearer to the two.

Vexana turned her head towards to the direction where the footsteps are coming from. She formed a gentle smile on her face after seeing that it was her friend, Master Rooney. A young and very intelligent inventor in the City of Scholars. "Do you need something, Master Rooney?" Vexana asked the steampunk-like inventor. "There was suddenly an interference in the Time Continuum. I do not know why it happened, but it could be dangerous!" Rooney alarmed, his face extremely anxious.

Diggie couldn't believe his eyes. Standing right before he is his idol, Master Rooney from the City of Scholars. He read almost everything about him. His life, greatest works, who he was associated with, even where he lives! That last part may be odd, but Diggie couldn't help himself to know where his idol is residing, he's one big curious owlet after all. "How dangerous is it? I do not want my beloved subjects to die and suffer." Vexana asked, her face showing that she's worried as well. "It might change the future as we know it! That small, sudden interference might create a catastrophic event. Just like a harmless flap from a butterfly can create a tornado on the other side of the world!" Rooney answered, sounding like he just lost his marbles and went off the charts.

"Erm, excuse me, Master Rooney." Diggie tapped Rooney on his legs to get his attention. He lifted his head to look up at him.
He wanted to talk to his idol about time and how a small action can create a dramatic consequence, but he is afraid that he won't believe the things that he'll say to him.

Rooney hung his head to look back at Diggie. His eyes immediately widened in curiosity. "What a familiar being you are! You look like my friend, just smaller that is." Rooney said, picking up Digger. "I-I um...You're my idol, Master Rooney! Very big fan of yours!" Diggie said, forming an adorable, yet awkward smile. "Aw, what an adorable little owlet! Where did you find him, your Majesty?" Rooney asked, poking one of Diggie's many brown feathers. It felt soft and smooth. "I saw him crying in the gardens, all alone by himself. I do not know how he managed to pass by the guards, he must've gotten lost. His name is Diggie and he is from Antoinerei, have you heard of a place by the name?" Vexana answered, smiling gently at Diggie's cute face.

"Yes! My friend who's also an owl lives there. I would be delighted to bring this owlet back to his family there and to visit my friend!" Rooney answered, smiling gleefully. He sincerely cannot wait to greet his friend once again. "My beloved friend became so famous in fact I lost touch with him. He got so busy that we couldn't study or test out new things together." Rooney added, placing Diggie down to the ground, looking at the owlet. Diggie looked so peculiar to Rooney as if he encountered an owlet version of his friend. And so strange, as if he wasn't supposed to be here. "I have to ask. How did you get here? Antoinerei is so far away from the Realm of Radiance that it would take a being two weeks to get there! Unless you go via a portal ball or a special kind. But then again, a youngling like you aren't allowed to possess a portal ball." Rooney questioned as he observed Diggie's appearance. "I um...It sounds very absurd, Master Rooney." Diggie replied, not wanting to answer Rooney's question because he might not believe him. "I do absurd things myself! I sometimes even create crazy inventions that make people feel awkward. You can be honest with me, young owlet." Rooney said, a smile on his young face.
