A few days after Ruby had run away from Alucard, she still felt quite mad about him. Ruby hasn't seen him in town while she's staying for a couple of months because of Roger's busy work of vanquishing wolves. She would love to vanquish wolves with her father as a small family bonding, which sounds strange, but Roger told her that she needs more training in order to let her vanquish wolves with him. Ruby knows that she has enough time to train herself before they go to other locations, but her anger made her impatient, she wanted to teach those vicious wolves a lesson they deserve.
Today was sunny, the hard rain no longer blocking away the sun like yesterday and the day before that. Ruby opened one of her bedroom's windows, looking at the busy street in front of her view. People were working hard to get their items sold out for the day. Customers went inside their store one by one, looking like packed sardines. The loud and disoriented noises of people talking at once were irritable. Ruby sighed tiredly, noticing a peculiar man staring at her in the distance. She squirted her eyes to see the man a bit more clearly.
Ruby slowly identified the man as Alucard. She stopped squinted, her eyes widening. Why is he staring at me? Was he watching me this whole time? Ruby asked herself inside her mind. She closed the window, grabbing her scythe then quickly headed downstairs to run outside of the house. Ruby ran towards the spot where Alucard was. She raised her scythe so that she wouldn't be able to accidentally hurt a stranger. The flooding crowd slowed her down, unable to meet Alucard in time. Fortunately, she saw him ran away through the alleyway that leads to the grassy fields of the town.
Once Ruby escaped the crowd, she dashed through the exit of the alleyway. The quietness and windy condition of the field were peaceful, but Ruby didn't see Alucard nor a sign of him. Ruby sighed, lowering her scythe. "Might as well train while I'm here," Ruby said to herself, beginning to swing her scythe and do her fighting techniques that she thought of in the past few days. Ruby began to attack the tall grass patches by using her I'm offended attack. She uses this technique to horizontally pull her enemy close to her if they're nearby. Ruby did this technique for a few times, then stopped after feeling like she caught something within the tall grass patches. She quickly pulled whatever that is inside the tall grass patches towards her with great force.
Ruby got knocked over by someone, a man with white hair that is dressed in blue and is currently looked like he is pinning her down. It was Alucard, he didn't think that she would manage to find him hiding within the tall grass patches, but she did. "Alu? Why were you watching and hiding away from me?" Ruby said confusedly, her eyes wide from the sudden appearance of Alucard. "I was afraid that you'll run away from me, again, and I was watching you because I felt very lonely without you being near," Alucard frowned, unable to look in her eyes. "Why did you follow my tracks? Aren't you scared of me?"
"No! I ran away because I was mad at you, although I looked afraid, I wasn't." Ruby answered, feeling creeped out by the fact that Alucard was watching her from earlier. "Can you get off me now? Your face is too close to mine!" Ruby said, making an adorable grumpy expression. Alucard immediately stood on his feet, helping Ruby to pull herself up. "I'm sorry! Was it weird?" Alucard asked, his cheeks slowly turning red. Ruby giggled, pointing at his cheeks. "Aw! You're blushing! And no, it wasn't weird." Ruby smiled brightly, she looked like a gem that outshines the rest.Ruby suddenly got an idea about how to vanquish some wolves with her father, by making Alucard tag along with her. She quickly grabbed one of his hands, pulling him towards to her house, but Alucard didn't budge. "Ruby, what are you doing?" Alucard asked, raising an eyebrow. "Taking you to my papa! He'll surely say yes!" Ruby said excitedly, her voice childish. Alucard stiffened for a moment, thinking what her papa will approve of, was it something important? He slowly got lost inside his thoughts, his expectations breaking through his vision.
