CHAPTER FIVE
I entered the dressing room marked Le Fanatics since I'm pretty sure that's where I saw Nate entering a few moment's prior. Both Nate and Alex were there waiting for me. Alex was sitting on the huge red sofa in the corner of the room while Nate was pacing the room back and forth. His was running his hands angrily through his hair and that's how I knew I'd done something wrong in his eyes.
I don’t think I have ever described how Nate and Alex look like. They are both very handsome. Nate is tall, lean, with green eyes and dark brown hair that isn’t straight. His hair is always messy but it looks good on him. Currently, he was wearing tight blue skinny jeans with a Led Zeppelin shirt.
Alex is taller than Nate and much tanner. He also sports messy black hair with brown eyes. He changed his clothes after our performance and was now wearing black jeans and a black tank top. Something he typically wears anywhere and everywhere.
Both boys have nice build bodies, it’s no wonder why their girl fanbase goes crazy when they are seen.
“What were you thinking?” Nate practically yelled at me the moment the door was closed after I entered.
“Oh great you’re mad at me, killjoy” I sat down on the sofa next to Alex to try and relax.
“Mad at you? I’m furious! You put everything in jeopardy for us while you were out there having some fun.”
“How exactly did I do that? It’s not like I just walked on stage and starting making out with them!” I yelled right back at Nate.
“You might as well have! Are you trying to look like a slut? Just the image we need for the band, Rose. A slut lead singer.” He spat before realizing what he said.
I walked right up to him and slapped him across the face. Like I said before, I stand up for myself. I don't like people talking me down, especially if I don't deserve it.
“How dare you call me a slut! All I did was kiss their cheek! And not even all of them! It was a in the moment thing. You have no reason to call me a slut. I did not ruin anything for the band. I am the furthest thing from a slut and you know it so don’t act smart. If you’re mad at me for something else then just say it instead of making me feel like crap!” I shouted on the verge of tears. I couldn’t believe Nate had said something so cruel to me.
This whole entire time Alex was silently watching us from his seat on the sofa. He looked like he didn’t want any part of this argument and just wanted to leave but knowing he couldn’t.
Nate still hadn’t said anything yet. The look of anger was gone from his face and he looked as if he was trying to calm himself down.
“You’re right. Rose, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to call you that. Zayn, I think that was his name, was the one that pulled you on stage. I’m sorry. I don’t know what is going on with me lately. Please don’t cry.” Nate said as he grabbed me for a tight hug.
At first I was reluctant to hug him, but I didn’t like fighting with Nate so I decided to forgive him.
“It’s ok. I won’t. I’m sorry for worrying you as well. Can we just get out of here? I’m tired and I want to go home.” I pulled away from Nate to look him and Alex in the eye for approval.
“Yes, let’s go. I’m tired as well. It’s been a long day,” Alex said as he starting getting his stuff together from the room.
We quickly told Mark that we were leaving to go home. I didn’t see any of the members of One Direction anywhere as we left the VMAs.
I wonder if I ever will get to see them again, or if this was a one time thing.
I hoped it wasn’t the last option.
Alex, Nate, and I all got into our designated limousine and left to go to our apartment in Los Angeles.
