CHAPTER THIRTY-TWO
“Do I look alright?” I asked Alex as I stepped out of the bathroom. I was dressed in a plain white shirt and some khaki shorts. Underneath you could see the burgundy two piece bathing suit I was wearing. I’m so glad I remembered to pack some swimwear since we were in Australia, nevermind the fact that I’m terrified of the ocean.
“You look fine Rose. We’re just going on a boat to the ocean. Nothing to dress up super fancy for,” Alex said and chuckled. He was also wearing a white shirt and some swim shorts.
“I know. I just don’t really know how I’m supposed to look right now. Thanks though,” I sighed and gave myself one last look in the bathroom mirror before exiting the bathroom.
“Yay! You’re out. Finally. Now I can change,” Nate said and walked passed me into the bathroom and shut the door behind.
“Did I take long?” I asked Alex curiously.
“No, that’s just Nate being Nate. You know how he can be,” Alex sighed and gave me a worried look for our friend. Alex knew what Nate had told me two weeks ago so he was up to date on everything.
“Ok well I’m going to put my bag back in my room. See you in a few Alex,” I said as I started walking towards my bedroom in the huge hotel room. Since I was the only girl in a room full of guys, everyone agreed that I should at least get my own room for privacy. Alex and Nate were sharing another one of the rooms that had two beds in it. And Harry and Louis had another room together with two beds in it. Liam and Niall were also sharing another room. Which left Zayn by himself because he had the most stuff packed. We were all satisfied I guess.
I walked into my room. The walls were painted blue that matched the sky outside. There was one queen bed in the middle of the room that had some floral sheets and a comforter on it. I put my backpack on the bed and sat down next to it. I took my iPhone out of my pocket and decided to make a quick call to Jessica to tell her we were alive and safe. It was currently about ten in the morning in Sydney so I think it would be almost five in the afternoon in Los Angeles. So Jessica has to be awake.
I dialed Jessica’s cell number and waited for her to answer. After about thirty seconds the phone went to voicemail. I sighed and hung up. Jessica never answers her phone, I should’ve known. I was just going to text her instead of leaving a voicemail. Who checks voicemails now a days anyways?
So I opened up a new text message to Jess and sent: Hey bestfriend. Like usual you didn’t answer. Just called to say that we’re alive and safe. At the hotel now about to go to the oceans of Sydney. Text you later :) if you’re awake at least.
So what was I supposed to do now. I didn’t have much time to contemplate what I was going to do because Louis walked into my room.
“What are you doing just sitting there?” Louis asked me incredulous. He was wearing blue shorts, a white shirt, and his signature gray beanie. I guess the choice was wearing a white shirt is popular among everyone today. The white shirt was so see through on him though. I could see his sculpted body almost perfectly under it. He noticed me staring and he smirked.
“Like what you see babe?” He winked at me.
I stood and walked over to him. I got on my tiptoes, wrapped my arms around him and whispered in his ear “I like everything I see.” I got back down and winked at him and walked out of the room, leaving him still stunned and speechless in my room.
“Hey Rose are you ready?” Harry asked me as I entered the living room.
“I think so. Do we have any towels?” I asked him.
