CHAPTER FIFTY-SEVEN

“What about that store?” Jessica pointed out and I nodded before walking into the store with her and Kat. 

We were all in Connecticut at the moment. Jessica and Katherine had decided to stay with us on tour and be with me. All of Le Fanatics and One Direction got here yesterday. We’ve been rehearsing nonstop all yesterday and this morning. I was finally on break and decided to spend it with both Katherine and Jessica. We were walking down the road and just browsing at any shops. It was something for us all to do together. 

We walked into the store and just sort of stared and went through everything. Jessica found a cute one piece outfit that she liked so she went to go try it on. Katherine and I decided to wait for her on the chairs outside the dressing room. 

Jessica is still torn about Zayn. He’s been really mean to her lately. So we’ve been trying to avoid him at all costs. She was already trying to find someone new though and had been texting someone but hasn’t told us who yet. 

I wonder how Zayn will feel about that when he finds out. But he deserves it after everything he’s put her through. 

“So how was your little getaway with Louis? You haven’t really said much about it,” Katherine asked me randomly. 

“It was lovely. I had a great time,” I said honestly and smiled as I remembered everything, even blushed some as I remembered the details. 

“So have you guys had sex yet?” Katherine asked me and I blushed violently before nodding. “You’re being safe though right?”

“Yeah I’m on the pill and he uses protection.” Sam had given me some of her pills before we left for Paris and I’ve been taking them just in case he forgets one day or something. 

“Do you love him?” Katherine bumped her shoulder with mine and I continued to blush. 

“Not yet but I do have strong feelings for him,” I spoke honestly. 

“Aren’t you worried Rose?” Katherine asked me seriously and I looked at her confused. 

“Worried about what exactly?”

“Aren’t you worried that Louis’ only in love with the old you? How do you know he actually loves this new you?” She asked me worried and I froze.

That makes sense.

That’s what has been bothering me lately. 

That’s what my mind has been trying to tell me but I’ve been refusing to accept it. 

Louis doesn’t love me.

He loves the girl I used to be.

And I’m not her.

The thought alone seemed to shatter my heart into millions of pieces. 

This is why I wasn’t allowing myself to love him, because he didn’t really love me back.
