CHAPTER TWELVE

“Rose wake up. We have to get ready,” I barely heard Nate say.

I murmured something out that sounded like “five more minutes.”

“No Rose. You have to get up now. You don’t have to do anything but get in the car. It’s almost a quarter to six in the morning. If you don’t get up, I am going to have to carry you in,” Nate warned me.

I blinked several times before I could finally see. Nate was hovering over me dressed in I don’t know what because my vision was all blurred out.

“Glasses,” I said and he handed me my thin black rimmed glasses. I put them on and could finally see the world around me. Nate was wearing shorts and a tank top with flip flops.

“I’m going to brush my teeth, then we can go,” I say as I start stretching and then getting up.

I walked past Nate to the bathroom and started brushing my teeth. When I was finished, I grabbed my contact lense container and headed out of the bathroom. It was all I needed. When we get to the studio, the stylists will change my clothes, fix my hair and makeup, and everything. All I have to do is not protest.

I walked out of the apartment building with Nate and Alex. We all got into a black SUV that would take us to the studio. I fell asleep again the moment the SUV started driving away.

An hour later, Nate, Alex, and I all looked fantastic. They made us look perfect for our interview with Ellen. The stylists managed to transform two tired boys and one girl into two guys who looked like every girl’s dream and the girl to look showstopper. At least, that’s the way I saw it.

Alex was wearing black skinny jeans with a tight white polo. Nate was wearing bright blue skinny jeans with a black Led Zeppelin shirt. I, on the other hand, was wearing red skinny jeans and a red and white striped drawstring raglan shirt. I really liked this shirt. Since I have a big bust, it was one of the few shirts that actually looked good on me.

“And here they are ladies and gentlemen, Le Fanatics!” Ellen shouted out and that was our cue to walk to the stage. First Alex, then Nate, and last was me. We always entered in this order and sat in seats in this order.

When we got to the stage, Ellen gave us all a hug and started dancing in the way she does. Nate was the first to join in and Alex and I followed and starting dancing. It was a lot of fun I couldn’t stop laughing.

After dancing for a minute with Ellen, she stopped and motioned for us to sit down and for the audience to quiet down.

“Wow that was fun!” I was the first to speak.

“Yes, that has been my favorite welcome into somewhere so far!” Nate exclaimed.

“Well I sure am glad guys. It’s nice to have you all here today,” Ellen said.

“Well we are thrilled to be here,” I replied laughing lightly.

“So I have one question: when is this album of yours finally coming out? I love your two smash hits so far!” Ellen laughed and so did we.

“That’s actually some good news we have. The release date was moved up so instead of the album coming on this July, it will be out June 5th! In time for summer!” Alex said excitedly.

“That’s great. Everyone in the audience is getting a preordered copy so now you know when to look for it in the mail!” Ellen said to the audience and was met with roaring applause and screaming from all of the fans.
